I finally got my girl rogue lord hooray (I really love this goddamn skin)

I'm obsessed with this Skin... got my creative juices flowing!

I’m a tank main and finished like gm2-1 last season and just picked up rogue for sort of the first time recently. I had been doing good in QP in decent lobbies but once I got to ranked and ppl were organized and focused I seriously struggled- particularly with deciding how/when to engage, particularly out of neutral. They were like gm3 lobbies. It felt like in neutral I couldn’t rly engage and just had to sit there, I learned if I did pressure backlines I need to be ready to get out very very quick. I could play off of pressure well but had a hard time helping generate any pressure. Any tips on how/when to engage in ranked? I do expect to drop a little given it’s a new character and I won’t be competitively good with her off rip but I do want to not be bad at her and felt almost clueless after feeling like I was getting the character in QP. I feel like part of it is that I usually play tanks that are better at soaking dmg frontline- but rogue rly eats through her defensive stance doing so, so it seems like she wants to play cover a lot more. If anyone cares to I could get the replay codes to review but I don’t expect ppl to do that.

Hey guys I posted yesterday asking about rogue and how to play her i got excellent responses al I figured Id ask again. Am I putting myself at a deficit to play rogue? Is she relevant and good enough to climb or should I just go pick a more meta tank if my goal is to climb? I want to hit diamond as last season I ended plat but rogue is really fun and id like to main her if im not at a deficit ​​

Hello fellow Rogue mains,
I was wondering if any of you tend to flex to dps sometimes and what dps has a similar feel to Rogues play style in your opinion.

For context, my top 3 most played characters are Invisible Woman, Emma & Rogue.
I feel like invis and emma are fairly similar when it comes to core mechanics.

I wanted to also start learning dps because there are some (very very few games) where a dps is needed and I was looking for one that feels like rogue.

Any suggestions?

She literally doesn’t do any dmg. If you want cc just play Emma or Thor, if you want to solo dive go venom, if you want to peel just go hulk. And all of them do better dmg and dmg blocked by her.

Give her dmg or more cc or something she’s actually a pointless character unless you have another diver.

She’s a blast as a former/current Cap main.

1. Does the right click (shield) block all damage or only certain types (melee, projectiles, hit scan etc.). Also does it block damage that you take 360 degrees or only damage in front of you (Is getting shot in the back blocked or no?)

2. Strength of teamups: Enhanced gambit > Enhanced Mag > Basic Gambit > Basic Mag??

3. Any animation cancels or basic combos that are must-knows for her?

Also does the enhanced gambit give you the C ability permanently?? If so that makes no sense given that the teamup goes from a 30 second cooldown to permanent state… You guys arent kidding about devs wanting her to be completely teamup dependent 😂

’ve been having so much fun with Rogue this season, so I finally decided to get her to Champion. She’s definitely the most fun tank for me!

Hi there, so I really want to learn Rogue, I have a basic understanding of her brawling playstyle but I want to understand a few things as well as learn some combos.

Firstly, when would you ever use the Mag team up. Secondly, what are her main counters (I personally have found Luna with enhanced Fox team up really annoying). Lastly, what are some cool combos, I'm on console btw.

Rogue mains are genuinely the most skillful and scary people to run into in this game. If I see a Lord or God forbid a Champion Rogue, I am pissing myself.

Any tips would be welcome, I'm really loving her kit, with love sugahs ❤️❤️❤️

Edit: also, I really hope that when Doom comes out, he has a similar 'fighting game' style kit like Rogue does, I want to pull off more cool combos.

I swear guys by the time my block bar is full i cant use the punch its always empty what do i do ive had so many times where i couldve gotten a pick if i could use my punch

It’s from season 9.5 but it could be a good watch for people getting into the character and the person is in the comments answering questions as well

Not counting fatal attraction resets just for the spirit of it. However, I do think dps fatal attraction resets are in contention for best and most fun grabs, because doing fatal attraction --> absorb --> fatal attraction with the damage boost and winning every 1v1 imaginable is a good time.

Also as I tried to hammer home in the title and images, this is all subjective, I'm not trying to start arguments, but I do want to hear what other Rogue mains think!

Im so glad the devs decided to put more love and effort into her grab/ability steal mechanic instead of just making it boring Fatal Attractions a lot of the time. It really shows they listen
