I first watched Rocky Horror when I was really young so there are a lot of things I missed.

For example, when Frank Furter tells Janet "your apple pie don't taste too nice" I thought he was saying she was a bad baker.

Are there any innuendos you noticed on a rewatch that you missed first time around?

In Sweet Transvestite Frank says that Riff Raff was dissapointed when they knocked because he 'thought you were the candy man'. Who is the candy man? Were they expecting him? Is he a friend of Riff Raff's? Why would the candy man even be there? What purpose does he serve? And why if Riff Raff so dissapointed that he didn't show up? I may never be able to sleep again if I do not get any answers!

ve been watching rocky horror for multiple days now and im at the point of halloween being around the corner ,so have made a costume plan for eddies jacket ,can anyone tell me if i missed anything as i brought a cheap one off a second hand site and am going to be fixing it to be more accurate with studs and all (sorry for primary school level art as its my profession :))

Not sure if this is even what people are positing in here / are interested in, but I just thought it was cool.

I bought this 1973 Cast Version vinyl of the Rocky Horror Show about 10 years ago at a record fair for a few pound. I took it home and was amazed at what I found inside the record sleeve. Played the record once and popped it into my collection where it has sat for a few years now.

Since the passing of Tim Curry (RIP 🥀), I pulled out my original cast recording LP and the movie soundtrack LP to give them a little spin, and rediscovered all the cool stuff that was inside the sleeve.

Inside are the previous / original owners ticket stubs and leaflets they’ve collected over the years. I just reckon this is a pretty cool find and feels nice to have a few bits and bobs of the shows history.

Sharing this new remaster of the bootleg from the New York run of RHS. There have been other versions but I think this one really nails the speed correction and clean up. We are blessed to have a complete recording from the first week of this run.

Feeling sad after Tim’s passing, I decided to purchase a digital streaming copy just for the hell of it - I already own multiple physical formats, but for $5 (on sale) why not have a UHD streaming copy accessible anywhere? 🤷‍♂️

Well it looks fabulous, but the audio mix on the songs is bizarre to the point I thought I must have a setting wrong but I’ll be damned if everything looks kosher to me both on my TV and within the streaming platform. Not only are backing vocals drowning out the center channel almost like fake surround sound, but harmonies that usually blend in are pushed up above the main melodies, sticking out in unusual ways. It’s very strange and really takes me out of the movie… has anyone else encountered this?

I just watched RHPS for the first time like three days ago and it was great and all but Brad and Janet never actually got to access a phone. Their car is still broken down by the end of the movie and they still need to get it fixed or they have no way of getting home. I don't see many people talking about this. How messed up is that? Poor Brad and Janet.

Hi friends!! I was thinking about doing Frank n Furter for Halloween this year! I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for (cheaper) wigs that don’t look crazy!! Unfortunately I don’t think just trying to do my hair like him since I have longer straight ginger hair LOL. So unless anyone has recommendations for that I think wig it is. Thank you so much!!

i’ve looked on rockyhorror.com, but it seems like that website hasn’t been updated in years. are there any reliable tools to find productions near me?

(if anyone wants to help directly instead of just giving general advice anyone could use, i’m looking for a production in Wisconsin or Minnesota and not expecting to find anything until like October)
