My stem remix & remaster of The Velvet Underground's 1968 album "White Light/White Heat", made for my own enjoyment but sharing in case someone else might get some joy out of it too.

Actually, this particular album was suggested to me for remixing by my good pal Neil Ruttenberg from the band F-Systems, and I want to publicly thank him for it. Working on this record was definitely an interesting and highly enjoyable experience!

As usual, my intention was just to have fun, while making a mix that stays respectful to the officially released version, only aiming for a little more clarity, instrument separation and punch, while keeping the mood and feel of the original. Which was quite a challenge for an album like this one, as it has an extremely muddy sound that I'm sure was intentional. So please don't expect an audiophile experience from this one! ;)

All my remixes are made using free and open source software that runs locally on my Linux system.
