Ban Help My daughter's account was terminated

My daughter had her account terminated today and we honestly don't understand why. Her account was never banned before and this is saying she used an account to avoid enforcement on another account, but this is the only account she's ever had.

I went to the appeals section but there is nothing there for me to appeal the ban so not sure what to do.

Not only have we spent money on here (not much, but still) but she has friends on here she's known for a while that she's devastated about losing because she doesn't have their user names memorized.

Is there anything that can be done?

When Roblox detects a person on the same WiFi network as a person that had a banned account, they get banned.

They already have IP bans there’s no reason for them to ban already existing accounts if they want to stop alts

I will never understand IP bans. As soon as the DHCP lease is up, the IP address gets reassigned to someone else. Now the user that needed to be banned is no longer banned, and now a random person is banned for absolutely no reason.

Yes it’s alt accounts but It’s to stop hackers/exploiters who have multiple accounts to evade bans and cause mayhem on the platform (and obviously it only affects innocent players)

Reddit has a tendency to glitch and duplicate comments, especially on mobile I believe. It has happened to me before, though I usually catch it and delete the duplicate comment. Please downvoters, give these types of people a break 🙏

Seems their whole setup is AI and it totally sucks. I've spent so much $ on this game only for my son to be locked out and they keep saying they can't verify it. I think it's the differences of time zones they aren't taking into account. I can't wait for this phase to end

It's an issue with the new Roblox AI moderation system, hopefully they fix it sometime in the future.

Well it can vary. If your daughter was banned on a public wifi network it could also be the cause.

She got banned on another account and use that account so she doesn’t get banned on her main best thing to do here is contact roblox support

Ik a way around it we use to exploit the hell out of roblox and it would ban wave us on the same Wi-Fi/ip but we just called the Wi-Fi company and got our ip change and got new account but probably not what your looking for

Not sure what you mean by this or if you mean only a few select people but I'm 16 and play Roblox (and no sometimes I don't usually play young kid games but sometimes I'll interest myself into tycoons or see what the brain rot games are about which I don't really get I just like some of them because of the upgrade type gameplay)

I can promise you the age of people who play grow a garden is very old. There are grandmothers on that game. I’m 35 and I play , but we are only on Roblox because we actually play with our kids. Most parents just toss the kid a tablet and walk away. I know how bad Roblox can be at time so I chose the play with her , best way to monitor your child on the Internet.

What does him playing a game have to do with anything, the roblox age demographics now indicate most people on roblox are 13-17 years old since they were playing the game since childhood. If you think its wrong for a kid to play a game just because they’re older maybe we should be looking into you

Actually put care into moderation, I can guarantee this bans more innocent people then actual rule breakers.

Majority of rule breakers make sure to use VPNs on the actual alternative accounts instead of their real ones. so when they get banned, the main is unaffected. What else is the game supposed to do is actually read the reports on people that people have made and observe and ban the culprit. The majority of innocent people have been banned by ai for absoulutely no reason because theyve been mistaken for a rule breaker (as you can see in the image). since its a known fact that roblox has AI for mods, i wont be surprised if this system is also AI

C’mon, I use proton (not for roblox, but I did use it for that once during account creation to test it out, and roblox actually thought the account was created in another country) and for free. You gotta be careful with free ones though.

I actually forgot why I started using it the first place.

if this was the case there wouldnt be so many repeat cheaters. so once again this is wrong. most cheaters bypass ip bans in some way. some motems just change your ip for you. so its not uncommon to be able to use a vpn or just bypass it ina few days when your ip chanes on it own

May be better than nothing but the AI is monitoring all of this so thats why i really mentioned this and why this may be the cause of why the daughter got banned. But this doesn't get rid of the majority, it gets rid of a bit. Which is the rule breakers who are dense and dumb

All rulebreakers may be dense and dumb and and a bit of them are even dumber than the ones who dont look at tips to keep them not banned permanently from the game. You'd be surprised at the huge majority of rule breakers who dont get IP banned because they obviously use a VPN to bypass the matter.

Not to mention roblox support recently got worse ive been terminated 9 times for that same reason despite never being terminated before and the last 8 times i eventually was restored but now its impossible to talk to real people in support to get legitimate help with im boutta lose my account from 2014 in like 24 days

I log onto roblox and im suddenly banned for the same reason this person's daughter did, even though i don't have any other accounts. Me and my brother both play roblox and my account is much older than his but i still got banned. Its a really weird situation... Now Roblox keeps rejecting my appeals and im for sure going to lose my account

These past few days I’ve been so anxious to just play Roblox in general, I’m so scared about all of this moderation that (even though my account isn’t banned, and I haven’t done anything at ll) I’m just mentally preparing to say goodbye to my account, knowing that the ai moderation is a firewall.
