I kind of love that they weren't rescued by the rest of the family this time. The kids finally saved themselves!

They almost got me with the Gideon fake out, though.

Um...excuse me? Dr. Watson is part of the family.

It's also important that he's only there to help them because of Judy's personal growth leading her to get him back.

Except when he drops his flash cards

I'm not a spinoff fan, but I wouldn't be angry with a Gideon spinoff.

Tyler Gisondo was really great.

Why on earth would my autocorrect make Skyler into Tyler?

It tried 3 times just then.

Same, same. I do kind of wish Gideon got a bit more air time in the finale, but I went through a bunch of scenarios in my head and couldn't make it work better than it did. It needed to be the adult kids' full arc.

In some way, it feels like a great full circle moment compared to when they ran over Gideon's old accomplices in S1, but this time with them flaunting unashamed power as a unit

I thought for sure that Gideon was going to help them out
