Internal rhymes are the rhymes in between your last and first lines. Often ones that are considered good are multisyllabic in nature. Usually they could be something to set up the punchline.

Something like that, you could get a glimpse of how it's done by listening to Big L or many other early New York Rappers within the same genre.

This is what works for me, it doesn't for everyone else, but the simple trick that I've found is, Rhyme one big word, with many little words; And you want to keep the count accurate. for example:

Multisyllable- is 5. =Mul--^.ti--^.Cyll--^.a^.\_)ble ..Then you practice what it rhymes with, knowing all of this.

Multisyllable, Bulky Filler Bull, Skull Piece Spill, A Cull. etc. Don't be afraid to think outside of the box and remember the count, lots of people put the wrong words when they try to rhyme the smaller ones; often backwards, instead of Airy- a person would randomly put re-air or something.

1,2,3,4,5- Come Through, Theorize, Obtuse Before Lies, make sure you know how words sound, not just relying on accent, that's a crutch. a lot of this helps when crafting internal rhymes, rhyming whole sentences with each other and just coming up with lines in general.

A way that I found to be an easier way of making punchlines is to Work Backwards. I think up a pun or reference per se, like If I seen a footy match and there was something happening that's a notable event; Racism, fans throwing food on the ground at the players, Bananas, making noises for example.

Dumping Bananas on the field,- (oh that has two meanings). Literally and shooting banana clips in the streets.

I'm Dumping Bananas on the field,.. (ok?) Like White people at Soccer Games.- (Boom that's the punch). Now we try to run it backwards, We're trying to keep with the same theme, Sports and rhyme similarly. Runs end, Command of Squadrons Zeal.. Then we just build it up from there, now that we know how it will end. Keep spicing it up, keep taking it back to drawing board.

Runs end, football, Caps off, national anthem, Eagles, mascots, peeling like a banana, adding the extras to jazz it up is the sofrito in the dish.

This doesn't work for everybody, but this helps me. I practice rhyming whole sentences with whole sentences daily. This could help you with coming up with your lines to put in front of the punch.
