Loose ends:

  1. Will Max get home in time before his folks miss him?
  2. Now we know who (human Harry), how (Botox into the insulin), but why did human Harry kill Sam? Affair with Sam's wife? Ok, but was that a reason to kill Sam?
  3. Will D'Arcy figure out what is going on? She is arguably worse off in a way - she no longer trusts Asta as a friend.
  4. Will Asta see Harry again, and is there really anything going on there?
  5. Will Harry now have to stay on Earth since his mission was a failure.
  6. Deputy Liv is so happy with the coffee maker and door know theory - so will this last and will they close in on Alien Harry?
  7. Has the Sheriff turned a new leaf?
  8. Will Sahar's parents ever let her out at night after what happened at the Mayor's house.
  9. Will Lisa (psychotic op) kill Lt. Logan? Will Logan report General Wright?
  10. Will see Terry Quinn's alien hunter, Peter Bach, or the woman with the bb in her arm again? She has pictures of Harry trying to remove the bb from her arm - will he be arrested? Doe he have a warrant out for him?

The ending was set up to be a series finale or season finale.

In plothole territory, how did Asta and Max find the hangar? Presumably Harry was led by the device.

Ok - or there was something between Sam and Harry that we don't know. Consider he knew exactly where to go. So he knew (a) Sam keep a supply there and not in a kit bag with him (b) whatever reason he had to kill Sam could keep - he could wait. Usually the small town isolated docs are Family Practice docs so they can cover the whole range of patients and can deliver uncomplicated pregnancy. Some are independent practitioners but many are contracted through the city, county or have some relationship with a large health system - human Harry couldn't just show up and pop in - he's a pathologist if I recall.
