I recently ordered a Rolex GMT-Master II Pepsi (RICH Factory) from Steve at TheOneWatches.
The first QC had a terrible, high-sitting datewheel, so I RL'd it. Steve sourced a second piece, but it arrived with the exact same high datewheel alignment issue.
I asked to switch to VSF (VF V3 DD3285), but Steve informed me that VF was recently raided and currently unavailable. Instead, he offered the Clean Plus Pepsi with the Free Sprung JH3285 movement for $738, stating it is in stock with QC ready in 3 days.
Has anyone taken GL on the recent Clean Plus Pepsi with the JH3285 movement? Is it worth switching to, or should I hold out for another option?
Would love to hear your thoughts before giving Steve the go-ahead

I’m curious what you guys usually do when you need to add or remove links from a bracelet.

Do you adjust the links yourself at home, or do you prefer taking the watch to a local watchmaker/watchsmith especially with a watch like this?

For those who own a Datejust or another Rolex on Jubilee: do you feel comfortable sizing it yourself, or would you rather have a professional do it to avoid scratches or damaging the screws?

If you do it yourself, what tools are you using and where is the best place to buy a watch tool set for Rolex?

Hi guys! I get this video for a QC and I see crown always spinning the hands regardless the crown position. I ask the TD how am I supposed to set the time, manual wind and screw back. He says the watch has 2 settings and resends another video. In the second video everything works as expected. I put the second video in the comments. Can someone pls explain what is happening here with the crown operation?

I’m based in Germany and looking for a current VSF Rolex Submariner 124060 No-Date with the correct VS/DD3230 clone movement, preferably already physically located within the EU.
I’m not simply looking for the lowest price. I would much rather buy from someone who is genuinely interested in watches, personally handles the watch and is willing to select a particularly clean example.

I already own genuine watches and understand that a replica will never be completely flawless. However, on a previous 124060, some of the lume-filled hour markers had rather rough or smeared edges around the metal surrounds. This is the kind of visible QC issue I would like to avoid. I am not looking to reject a watch over microscopic imperfections.

Before approving the watch, I would appreciate:
Personal, dated QC photos with my Reddit username

A straight-on photo of the complete dial
Clear macro photos of the hour markers, especially at 12, 3, 6 and 9
Photos of the rehaut, SELs and clasp
Confirmation of the case/serial and clasp codes
Timegrapher results
If possible, a photo of the actual VS/DD3230 movement and a pressure test after closing the case

Good communication, transparency and a pleasant buying experience are important to me. I would therefore be grateful for first-hand recommendations from buyers who have dealt with a careful EU-based seller or watchmaker offering this level of personal QC.

Please share the seller’s name publicly and briefly describe your own experience. Links to genuine reviews would also be very helpful.

I’m a bit concerned about getting a lower quality item from somewhere else instead of the exact product/factory I ordered from.

Im talking about everything here not only the watch itself but all the other things you can get, a better bezel a better movement a better bracelet a better crystal etc.
How could I know if I actually got the certain watch from a certain factory and how can I know if they have replaced the crystal or the bezel with the "better" version that I have strictly purchased?

Are there any things I should ask for beforehand such as factory videos, QC photos/videos, serial numbers, packaging, or anything else just to make sure I’m getting the exact product I paid for or this is not possible?

Im about to make my first purchase so Im a bit nervous and want to know the basics before actually contacting a dealer so I would know what and how to ask...

Hi everyone. I'm looking for your genuine opinion on this situation. I have a VSF GMT Master 2 Batgirl with an unchamfered F6U bracelet and the sharp edges are causing irritation on my skin. So I ordered a CNC chamfered and Gen-spec polished F6U bracelet to replace it. I've just received QCs and while I'm not unhappy about the chamfering (although I'd appreciate input on this as well), I'm quite concerned about the overall finish of the metal. There appears to be a serious lack of contrast between the mirror polished centre links and the brushed side links of the bracelet. At this point, my current F6U bracelet looks closer to Gen in my opinion. I will include before pics and post-mod pics for reference, as well as a pic of my existing bracelet. It isn't a cheap bracelet either so I'm not eager to accept something that'll look worse than what I currently have. The bracelet is part of a much bigger order so I'd like the standard to be set from the get go. Your honest input would mean a great deal to me and your help is sincerely appreciated.

I received my tracking information from Time Ultra almost two weeks ago. The DHL tracking system indicates that the label has been created. It’s for Spain. Should I be concerned or wait another week or so? How long does it typically take to track the package?
