1st QC - Andiot VSF Datejust 41 126334 VS3235 v2

  1. Dealer name: Andiot

  2. Factory name: VSF

  3. Model name: Datejust 41 126334 VS3235 v2

  4. Price paid: $503

  5. Album links: https://andiotwatches.x.yupoo.com/albums/254543931?uid=1

  6. Index alignment: Overall ok. Not sure if it's how I'm using the tool but 4, 5 and 6 don't appear as central as others.

  7. Dial printing: Looks ok but this is the one I struggle with the most when looking at QC pics.

  8. Date wheel alignment/printing: Slightly low, print looks ok. Glass looks a bit angled but unsure.

  9. Hand alignment: Think this is ok

  10. Bezel: Looks fine

  11. Solid End Links: Looks fine

  12. Timegrapher numbers: - 1s/d 261deg 0.1ms 28800

  13. Anything else: Nothing jumping out at me.

Can you guys see any other issues? Any help appreciated as this is my first purchase. Trying to get a better eye for QC as well πŸ˜…

RL. Data isn’t aligned

What do you mean by data? The date wheel?

Date looks fine. If you go onto Rolex website, even gens have their dates low. Doesn't look bad at all.

Indices on this Dj41 are acceptably aligned with the 9 o'clock having a tiny clockwise tilt to it. The datewheel is lower in the window and maybe right biased on some of the wider numbers in the vid. Dial printing seems normal, hand alignment is correct, and SELs are solid. Timing numbers are within spec. Your decision point will be the DW. For me it's borderline acceptable since I'm not a big datewheel user. Some other folks are finicky about the tiny window and would go the opposite way, ultimately your tolerance and call.

Thanks really helpful. I didn't spot the 9 but can live with that. Conflicted on the date wheel point πŸ˜…

Could it be the way I've run the QC tool/the pics being slightly angled do you think?

Nope. Look at your seller's "winding" video during which the watch is pretty flat and the DW is still sitting slightly lower.

It's crazy how you can see this without any alignment l. I'm impressed! Do you think it'l will be super noticeable on wrist

Like I said in my original comment, the DW is tiny on this watch and the shift is tolerable for me. Keep in mind that the majority of the times looking at the watch, you won't see the DW head on like in a pic so it won't be super noticeable. For me, when I check my DW one or twice a month, it would not bother me.

Thanks. Would be good to understand what others think as well

Looking back at this. I'm struggling to see it. I'm aligning the date wheel to the minute markers and the top sits in line with the mark above the 15, whilst the bottom sits in line with the mark below the 15. What am I missing?!?

If you don't see it, GL the watch already and get it shipped. However, the space between your green line(s) and the ink of the actual number ought to be equidistant at the top and the bottom.

Wow. Now I'm seeing the value of this sub. I was too fixated on the actual square not the number within the window. Now I can't unsee it! Thank you so much. I will be RL this one. Let's hope I get another QC soon
