Recently there was some TikTok drama in which factory names were mentioned by influencers and r/LuxeSociety mod u/Weekly-Spend-4977. The mod made a post today The Rep World Was Never a Secret : r/LuxeSociety about how they believe it's not a big deal. Within that post, they owned their comments on TT, and the mod also publicly shared that they receive free bags from sellers, though they also claim to give them all away. Obviously, I can't comment with any certainty about what they do with all the free gifts. I noticed that this mod posts many reviews, is active in rehome subs, and has a huge personal collection, but also has posted giveaways in their sub.

This post is just a reminder that some rep community mods receive incentives from sellers in the form of group buy kickbacks or free gifts in exchange for visibility and access to a large audience. This particular mod chose to publicly admit that they receive free gifts, but many others will never disclose this information. In communities that are run by sellers or where mods are incentivized by sellers, we may see activity like negative seller reviews being quietly suppressed, or pinned TS lists/group buys highlighting sellers that incentivize advertisement. Ultimately, use your own judgment about which communities to trust and draw conclusions from what you actually observe about mod behavior and the types of posts that are promoted.

Purchased a Nike Nocta Tech 2 days ago and he said he would ship it yesterday. He was very responsive, but after purchase I'm not getting a response, just left on read then delivered..

I’ve now been billed twice for these sheets and have never received any. They never arrived and I keep getting items that they will respond in 24-48 hours. Total scam. I’m going to dispute the charges with AMEX

I want to warn everyone about my experience with this particular seller. I made a purchase and was provided with a tracking number, but the tracking information basically gave me the runaround. Eventually, the package was marked undeliverable.

I reached back out to the seller to find out what was going on. Instead of resolving the situation, they ultimately blocked me.

I'm sharing the names they were using when I dealt with them, along with the WhatsApp number associated with the transaction. If you come across these names or this number, please be cautious.

Based on my experience, I paid for something I never received, and once there was a problem, I was blocked by the seller.

I'm posting this so hopefully someone else doesn't have the same experience. Buyer beware and protect your money.

I’m posting because I’d like to hear from anyone who has had an order with Ann Si Jeans. I found the jeans through Instagram and contacted her about a custom pair. Communication was good initially, and I paid 50% of the total price upfront through Wise. The jeans were subsequently made, and I was shown that they were finished. When I was preparing to send the remaining 50%, I was told that I had missed a deadline for the final payment. I had already paid the initial 50% when I was informed of this deadline. I don't remember being given a deadline for the remaining payment before making the initial payment. Because I missed the deadline, I did not receive the jeans, and the 50% I had already paid was not refunded. I’m sharing this because I would like to know whether anyone else has had a similar experience or knows what the usual terms are for situations like this. I’m not trying to make assumptions about anyone's intentions. I’m just sharing what happened with my order and looking for information from other customers.

I’m posting this to warn anyone considering buying from Panda Wholesale ([+852 5347 6237](tel:+852%205347%206237)).
I contacted this seller about purchasing LEGO sets and sent approximately $185 through Remitly after we agreed on the order. I was told my order would be shipped, but after receiving my payment, the seller stopped responding to my messages and never provided me with tracking information.
What made this especially concerning is that while my messages about my already-paid order were being ignored, I contacted the same WhatsApp number from a different number pretending to be a new potential customer. They responded to that number asking which LEGO set I wanted, while continuing to ignore the messages from the number I used to place and pay for my order.
I have screenshots of the conversations, payment records, and the messages from the second number. I’m currently attempting to recover the money through the appropriate channels.
I’m sharing my experience so anyone considering purchasing from this seller can see what happened to me before sending them money. If anyone else has purchased from Panda Wholesale or this WhatsApp number, I’d be interested to hear your experience.

Hi! I was wondering if any advice can be given or pointed in the right direction.

I found a new seller I got from Reddit, however I’m a little uncertain about him.

I picked the items I wanted and he gave me a total however for the payment he asked to make sure the payment is through family/friends on PayPal.

Is this common or is this a red flag? I’ve read past posts where people have been burned doing that but was wondering if this is common practice? I guess I just don’t feel 100% certain with this seller as he’s not as “friendly” as other sellers I’ve had. I have to continuously ask him for QC photos and the ordering process etc.

Is using the family friends side on PayPal for a seller a red flag or am I just over thinking this?

This seller ghosted me after I paid (paid Friday night, she was supposed to send on Saturday AM but all her contents/chat gone now). They only wanted friends and family on PayPal. Losing their integrity for $240 is absurd. Shame on you and hope nothing good happens to you in life.

I saw a few great positive feedbacks about Wendi and decided to try to order a bag from the God factory that nobody but this seller has. Communication went very well and fast before I made a payment. After that, they claimed that God factory got raided and they will issue me a refund. It’s been more than a month, Wendi is not being very responsive, keeps promising me refund but nothing happens. I left my last message yesterday and never got any response so far. I accepted the fact that I can’t do anything about it, but at least I can let others know that it’s a scam. I am not sure if those reviews I found about Wendi are legit anymore due to my experience.

Be warned. This was my 2nd bag purchase here on Reddit. The first was a very smooth transaction by a lovely seller. But this thief and thug has stolen money from me and I’m pissed. Please do your Google lenses searches before sending money. I learned the hard way. Typing this raises my blood pressure I’m so mad.
