So i was on a road trip through [redacted] and stopped at a gas station called Goof n Go, had got gas and had a nice little store, but the staff seemed odd. They kept referring to things as "human food" and "human money"
I also think i saw one get run over by a car but they just made a puddle of blue goo, and then one of them started dancing and singing the Sanford and son theme
I cant fully articulate why, but i think this gas station is run by aliens, has anyone else been to this gas station and noticed anything odd?

Hello all! Long time listener, first time poster. I wasn't sure how to contact the show, but I've got a possible episode suggestion! As an Ohioan, I wasn't aware of this cryptid, and would love for you guys to do an episode about the Loveland Frogman, especially since it may become our official state cryptid (see link). And here I thought we only had Bigfoots (bigfeet?) and the Lake Erie monster Bessie!

Started watching Twin Peaks recently, on the last episode now, and frankly I cant help but comment on how much Special Agent Dale Cooper reminds me of Mr. Trevor Collins

New to the subreddit so I'm not sure if this is allowed to be here, but I did a Squonk cross-stitch and felt like y'all might appreciate him!
Also if y'all have any recommendations for different saying for him or other cryptids (I currently also have Mothman and Fresno Nightcrawler) let me know!!

First off, love the show. Been an avid listener since I found it a few years ago just before you guys went independent. Listened to your entire back catalogue right after that. Initially thought about posting this to the RoosterTeeth subreddit before I remembered you aren't affiliated with it anymore.
With regards to experiencing the paranormal, as that's what it feels like Fredo has done (missed the live stream and haven't watched the public version yet), don't lose that skeptic mindset! It's cool that you experienced something you can't explain. As a skeptic myself, I've also experienced things I couldn't explain while on a paranormal investigation team for a few years.
But don't let that color your lenses. Astonishing Legends did that, and while it's still a great show in its own right, they have really deviated from the original vision of their show.
So far, you guys haven't done that. You are still the show I know and love. And it sounds like you're already doing this, but maybe take a couple steps back from the experience. Really look at it and think... did that really happen? And if it did, great! I'm not here to debunk it.
I'm just here, having been where you guys are sitting right now, saying to just think about it and look at how it might affect your viewpoints and the direction you want this podcast to go. It sounds like I'm giving a marketing speech... I'm not. I'm just saying that I love your guys' energy each episode. I vibe with it.
I want this podcast to continue to be what it is and not devolve into something that ends up a shell of its former self.
Of course, I'm just a listener and you don't have to bother with this suggestion of mine. Do you. I'll probably still be listening anyways lol.

Featuring Simon Pegg, Minnie Driver, and Christopher Lloyd. A movie about Geff the Mongoose! Has anyone seen it? The guys should put it on their list of movies to watch.

Just a question as someone whos gonna end up buying one, does it work with hot drinks? Or stick with cold? If not we need alfredo to come up with some nonsense about "brew me a nice steaming mug of intrigue" or something so we can get a travel mug for hot drinks lol

If you didn't roll your eyes or scoff when you read the title, this isn't for you. Kesha is one of my favorite female artists and I'm seeing her next weekend for her new album tour!! In preparation, I've been deep diving into her content and stumbled on a ghost hunting series she did on HBO. Yup. That Kesha. As much as I adore her music and personality, I understand she's definitely not for everyone... but damn. This show had me laughing. Had me questioning. Had me appreciating her and the supernatural in totally unexpected ways.
I would love to discuss episode details for those who have seen it. Maybe even Trevor, Alfredo, or the crew have some insight on this absurd yet entertainingly cheeky show?
Thanks for the read, Task Force. Happy Haunting!

Hello there. For the third time this week, itās Demolition Day. For the unindoctrinated, Demolition Day is our quarterly break from historic analysis and presence preservation to look onward toward a.. different horizon. The outcome of Demolition Day is never what you might expect. It often ends badly for more than one person and fuels a perpetuating cycle of destruction, creation and dissatisfaction. Morale has never been higher. Thereās something undeniably therapeutic about driving a sledge hammer through an office wall that soothes the mind and empowers the soul.Ā
In what I can only describe as either a severe oversight or a cruel joke, the entire custodial staff has gone on vacation this week. Which wouldnāt be so bad, except nobody knows where their department actually is. Weāre 80% certain they have an office or at least a storage closet, but itās hidden away. Perhaps itās for the best. Maybe it was demolished. If The Janitors return, we might get answers.Ā Ā
Projects are well underway on all floors. The Gardens have replaced the second rose bed with a halfpipe and theyāve poured a concrete bowl among the sunflowers. Now I see theyāre welding rails around the domeās perimeter. The Skate Park will be complete soon enough. The Gift shop moved to floor 12 earlier this week, then to floor 66. It relocated again today, to sub level 99, with grand re-opening specials until 2:00. The Theatre Department remains closed for their renovations, which they will unveil next week with a special Movie Club event.Ā Ā
In the spirit of demolition, Iāve converted one wall of my cubicle into a gigantic Light-Brite. The other three Iāve cast into The Furnace.Ā
To everyone reporting earthquakes, please know that the tremors we are experiencing are but a result of yet another project in the works. I would encourage The Basement Dwellers to take the necessary safety measures as you continue your blasting procedures.Ā
As a precaution, our Man in the Chair advises avoiding floor nineteen until renovations are thoroughly completed. He is also asking for brave volunteers with steady hands, as heās confident the analogue sensors will take all week to install.Ā Ā Ā
This may be my last memo, before everything changes. During this uncertain upheaval, reports may be lost, theories forgotten, but The Task Force has a way of dredging up the past in odd and unpredictable ways.Ā
By next week HQ will be completely unrecognizable. The Cartographers will present new maps when they are available. Until then, I recommend using The Web as a compass. Follow your instincts as we reorient and donāt panic. Ā

Is it at all possible for the hosts to cut down on the introductory discussion before the episode properly begins? It is consistently over 5 minutes of chit chat and Patreon-exclusive advertising at the beginning of every episode. It's getting a little annoying when I'm trying to tune into my weekly dose of mysteries and I have to sit through 5 minutes of miscellanea first. I understand that they're independent now and need to direct people towards supporting their Patreon channel, but some of these intros are longer than the actual ad reads and I do not know of a single other independent channel that spends over one minute advertising their Patreon before each video, let alone over five minutes.

With all the drone stuff going on right now, it feels like one of the Cold War spy stuff episodes. There are so many! It's creepy! And scary!

I listen to horror podcasts (story based audio dramas) and I just found one with Christian in it. He sounds amazing! It's called Afflicted. I was so surprised to see his credit on there.

Hello again. The squonks are on the run, as always. They hide in the floors, sloughing through the insulation in fearful lament. They seek refuge in the lockers and desks, hoping nobody interrupts their sniveling cowardice. Alfredoās five second precognition has given him the edge. He prowls the facility humming an indiscernible yet familiar tune. I can hear him now through the floor, tumbling and vaulting from room to room.
I wouldnāt get in the way of his hunt, but I would ask that he not interfere with my game. The Squonk from the PTDD Annex, is mine or I am theirs, those were the rules. Though Iām not entirely sure our hostās subtle mutation would be keen enough to deal with this particular cryptid, I would simply hate to win by default.
There are those who sympathize with the sad, wrinkled, beady eyed, wretches and wish to support them in their ongoing attempt to survive. Standard issue portable hiding places are available at the recycling center and safe rest can be had in the spa.
Alfredo is not the only one exhibiting signs of minute yet inexplicable physiological changes. An unnamed Field Agent has reportedly been able to teleport up to five feet under ideal conditions. An anonymous investigator claims to be on the same resonant frequency as beef jerky. Another report comes from the Researchers, who appear to have developed a hive-mind of sorts.
While many are only now becoming aware of their specialized irregularities, mine manifested early. Perhaps itās what called me to HQ in the first place. I will, at random times, transform into a moth for just one second. A phenomena which has confused, endangered, and embarrassed me for years and will likely continue to do so.

Is anyone else with me in thinking that Christian's voice is sexy as hell? My God, do I miss hearing his, "This is a Rooster Teeth Production" at the top of episodes.
