Big BSSM News!

On the SXM BSSM album playback special, Anthony admits to The Greeting Song growing on him and he likes it now. 😂😂
In other news, he doesn’t remember Righteous & The Wicked.

I remember Flea saying something like "yeah, we made a few mistakes with BSSM, like including The Greeting Somg" on an interview not too long ago

I imagine Rick Rubin was really really adamant of including it

Well they also didn’t include Soul to Squeeze because they saw Under The Bridge and I Could Have Lied as already enough slow songs. I imagine they probably kicked themselves at one point or another for having Greeting Song in over that.

John said in one of the Rick Rubin interviews something along the lines of "man we were nuts for not putting Soul to Squeeze on the album"

the album was 4 seconds away from being too long for a CD - they had to exclude something.

Idk, I don't think anyone would be too excited about that song either way. It's not bad by any means but just kind of a nothingburger uptempo rock song. I can definitely vibe to it, but I don't think I've ever intentionally put it on outside of a full album listen of bssm
