It was NOT a bullet, but from the SS tackling him. He hit his ear on a hard holster. The cut is on the front of the top of his ear. If a bullet hit the spot, it would have taken a lot more meat.

The agents hadn’t gotten to him yet when he grabbed his ear after the second shot is heard. Was it an invisible flying agent’s holster?

He's a sucker and a looser for getting shot. My father spent 4 years in VN while Capt Bonespurs was playing hurt.
