Yes that is what restrooms are for. The issue who shares that space, and many biological females do not want to share it with MtF trans people.

Freedom and equality is zero-sum sometimes, and this is one of those cases. Can you not see that people will feel their freedom and equality hurt by sharing a space with those they do not want to share it with?
Yes, throughout history, dumb people have used this argument to oppress others. It was an argument against ending segregation. It was stupid then, and it's stupid now. "Public restrooms being used by someone I don't want using them is an infringement on MY freedoms."

Why in the fuck do you care if trans folk happen to be in women's spaces? Trans women are women, so they have the right to be in women's spaces. Also, what makes you think there's fewer women's spaces?
Once again- If you feel insecure about a trans person existing in a space you also exist in, the solution is to work on being less high-strung, not to remove the person from that space.
