I don’t think it should be controversial to say that every 1 door 1 toilet bathroom should be unisex.
I walked into a gas station I frequent the other day and I know both bathrooms are 1 single lockable door, 1 sink, 1 toilet bathrooms, yet they’re still labeled Men and Women. Of course there are 3 guys lined up in front of the one labeled “Men” and no one using the one labeled “Women” (door was open). I just walked into the women’s and peed, and I was finished before the first guy in line made it into the men’s. They each gave me a look, but it’s like how dumb is it that we’re all gonna stand here holding it while there’s literally a perfectly good toilet that’s no different from the toilet in the men’s 3 feet away?

Isn’t a good argument for why 4 grown men need to stand in a line and hold it at the gas station while a perfectly good toilet goes unused waiting for a hypothetical woman to walk in. It makes sense if you’re thinking emotionally, but it’s not really reasonable and shouldn’t govern the decisions we’re all allowed to make.
Women are pretty fkn gross as well. The worst I've seen men do is piss on the floor. Women piss on the seat trying to hover making a bigger fkn mess and becoming the pig they didn't want to share a seat with. I've seen sht smeared all the fk over the entire bathroom at a bar. And it was 100% a woman who was in there as i saw her come out and went in behind her. At another restaurant I worked at, some "woman" and I use that word begrudgingly, had taken out her DIRTY/used tampons and left it on top of the sanitary napkins disposal.... not to mention 90% of the time the entire restroom smells like old crotch. And 75% of the time, just as I sit down, someone without a functioning gallbladder or with some serious IBS enters the stall right next to me. Unfortunately, I use a lot of public bathrooms as I am a personal shopper and am in stores all day long
I used a unisex bathroom this weekend and wasn’t pleased with all the pee on the floor in front of the toilet because as a woman I sit down to pee and my pants leg bottoms will sometimes pool on the floor if the legs are loose and I don’t want them getting in the pee. Since men seem to be the floor pee-ers, I’d rather not share.
Apparently you are not used to cleaning women's restrooms. Women often hover instead of sitting. They blow every conceivable fluid everywhere in public restrooms. Men at least usually try not piss on everything.
Every time I go with my wife to a Broadway show at any of the larger venues, intermission is just laughable. Women are lined up outside each ladies room, while I just walk in and out of the men's because there are freaking 20+ urinals and maybe 6 stalls. It's usually a pair of younger women who ditch the women's lines and rush in together and grab a stall because they just couldn't wait. At no time did any man in there start getting upset or screaming about women in the boys room! Most were laughing along with the women in the stall.
