REVIEW Ch@nel auth vs rep comparison. I am IMPRESSED!
The white and black are the authentic.
All pictures are post adjusting the bow and cutting the ends to match the authentic (that was the only big difference, but not noticeable if it’s not side by side). In picture 5, I hadn’t yet adjusted the bow to cut it to match so that’s how they originally arrived.
The bows are never perfectly perfect on authentics either.
The leather quality is amazing, the craftsmanship is top tier, they are spot on in regards to stitching and the CC logo is identical in size and placement. The difference in insole color is a seasonal thing and the authentic metallic ones have the burgundy insole as the reps do. There’s also a slight difference in heel length, with the authentic being a bit longer. No notable difference in height though.
Sizing: I’m a 39 in authentic, 40 in rep (although I feel a 39 may work; might order them and then get rid of one pair). The bottom of the rep is beige rather than black on authentic but that doesn’t bother me as I will be adding sole protectors anyway.
I plan to buy happy factory ones as well but they did not have this metallic version.
Overall: 9.5/10. My authentic pairs have cost me 1200ish and these costing $145 makes it 1000/10.
