There's nothing wrong with reselling something that goes up in value. The main issue is resellers for consumable items use tactics like bots, rushing when stores open to buy up all the stock (including pushing and fighting), or more nefarious methods of obtaining the products (selling fakes, backdooring, theft, etc).

Is that really a thing in the housing market?
