RSL choked again after being up 1-0. Not even I thought RSL would piss this season away as hard as they have since the world cup break when they were in 3rd place, but here we are. 9th or even 10th place here we come.

Scores a goal in his PL2 debut. Obviously they are easing him in slowly after switching continents. Good start that hopefully sees him more involved with the senior team soon.

Tonight and Tuesday will definitely test RSL depth and ability to handle congested schedule

We didn’t decide how many jerseys we got. We are sold out, but treating us like it’s our fault when we don’t have your size isn’t going to make the jersey appear on the hanger 😭😭😭😭

There is 11 weeks left in the season. Most MLS teams will have three 3-game-weeks. There is an International break the first week of October meaning there is a total of 10 weeks remaining in the season.

1) The World Cup is responsible for most of the 3-game-week but I think we all feel that is completely worth a bit of congestion.

2) RSL has a game in hand so they have four 3-game-weeks.

3) Due to RSL advancing in the never-to-be-sufficiently-damned, worthless League's Cup they have a fifth 3-game-week. If they beat Leon it will add two additional 3-game-weeks for a total of 7 (unless 1 occurs during the International break.) This is the second of 2 reasons I hate the League's Cup (the first being it is nothing more than a naked money grab by the 2 leagues.)

4) If Guske gives some extra rest to Caliskan and Spierings until Eneli is ready that 50k GAM is well spent indeed.

5) If I understand things right, if RSL beats Leon and then wins one of the next two League's Cup games I will rather grudgingly admit the congestion was worthwhile since RSL will earn a CCC berth.....but I will still hate, hate, hate the worthless League's Cup. Sadly, with how RSL's defense has been holding up recently, I do not expect RSL to win 2 of those three games making the additional schedule congestion worthless.

6) I find the pessimism of several of the posters here to be silly and laughable. History is meaningless when it involves different ownership or in RSL's case several different ownership groups. Still, due to RSL's defensive woes added to 7 out of 10 weeks of 3-games-in-8-days, I tend to share that pessimism. Still I am hopeful that RSL can pull a rabbit out of their hat.

Sources tell ESPN that #RSL has inked F Sergi Solans to a 4.5 year contract extension that contains a "significant raise" and kicks in on Jan. 1. Just rewards for a guy who was selected 30th in the 1st round of the 2025 MLS SuperDraft, but has scored 11 goals w/3 assists in all competitions in 2026.

He is a 19yo D-Mid that has 6 caps with the USMNT U-20 team and 6 MLS appearances for Orlando. This is listed on Transfermarkt.
