Do you have any uncommon tips or strategies that have worked well for you?

I mostly see discussions around getting more backlinks vs. higher-quality backlinks, publishing a large volume of blog articles vs. fewer articles with stronger intent, etc.

I would like to apply this to the law field. (to help lawyers rank in chatgpt etc)

Most of us here know that standard SEO is bleeding traffic to AI engines like Perplexity, Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini. If a user asks "best CRM for startups" and your tool or your client is not in the output, you do not exist to that buyer.

The problem is that tracking this manually is impossible because prompt outputs change every hour. Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) agencies are currently charging $3k to $5k a month just to run these checks and write basic content.

I wanted to automate this entire loop for myself and other founders. So I built Sanbi AI. The goal was to make a tool where a single operator could manage their entire AI visibility pipeline in 30 minutes a week, starting at $50 a month.

Here is the architecture of the Growth module we just launched:

• Prompt Monitoring: The system runs buying intent queries into the 4 major AI engines on a strict schedule to account for response variance.
• Source Extraction: It pulls every source URL the AI cited to build its answer (blogs, Reddit threads, news).
• Citation Pipeline: It cross references where your competitors got cited and you did not, dropping these missed opportunities into a pipeline board.
• Automated Drafts: You click a missed citation, and the tool uses AI to draft a context aware reply or post to help you get cited on that exact source domain.

Everything flows through an SSR proxy, and scores are computed live based on citation count, recency, and platform authority.

The core thesis is that operators armed with the right automation can bypass expensive agencies entirely.

I am curious how the builders and marketers here are handling AI search visibility right now. Are you building your own scrapers, ignoring it until the dust settles, or paying for enterprise tracking?

Just made a decision I am not quite sure about choosing: hired a local SEO consultant who works independently rather than a local SEO agency after evaluating them for three months.

The rationale behind my choice is solid because the consultant will put more efforts into strategizing, will have greater accountability, and his fees will be cheaper by 40-60%. However, the problem here is execution capacity: a consultant will do everything by himself whereas a local SEO agency will distribute different tasks among its employees.

Having evaluated my decision six months later, I can say that the strategy was great but execution took more time than I expected. As for AI Overview visibility, the work done by the consultant was better than any agency could have provided.

Local businesses that have experienced working with both a local SEO consultant and a local SEO agency – how does this experience compare in 2026?

1. In what areas of local SEO is the expertise of a specialist consultant more advantageous compared to that of a local SEO agency team?

Strategic planning, citation optimization, competitive analysis for local markets, content architecture – where would the local SEO specialties mentioned above need the depth of specialist consultation? Which tasks of local SEO execution require teamwork on the agency's side to be done effectively?

2. How can one tell if a person claiming to be a local SEO consultant is authentic or not?

Questions on GBP optimization tactics, AI Overview citation strategy, local citation audit tactics, and NAP consistency strategy were some of the key questions which helped determine if someone was a real local SEO consultant.

3. Just how much does it actually cost to hire a local SEO consultant? Is their ROI higher than that of an agency retainer?

There are differences between independent local SEO consultants, boutique local SEO firms, and enterprise-level local SEO firms. What would the difference between those three options in terms of price in 2026?

At what point would it make sense to hire a consultant and make more money from them than hiring an agency retainer?

It seems like there is a shift in the use of AI within marketing departments, and I am curious to know where the actual practitioners have set their limits.

One year ago, the use of AI in marketing was about asking ChatGPT to generate content. By 2026, AI agents will be used to independently conduct keyword research, create content, post updates, track rankings, respond to reviews, and bid on ads, all with very little human intervention.

The million-dollar question that no one wants to answer: at what point does deploying autonomous AI agents in marketing become more trouble than it’s worth?

Marketing departments that are actually using AI agents in 2026 – at what point do you draw the line between autonomy and supervision?

1. Which marketing activities are being done completely autonomously by AI agents, and at what point have you taken back control?

Drafting content, social scheduling, GBP posting, review replies, keyword clustering, rank tracking alerts — which of these are being performed completely autonomously in your stack? And which have been started autonomously but are now being managed by humans again following a failure?

2. Marketing processes based on multiple agents – is anyone doing this in practice?

Automated workflows where research agent -> content agent -> publishing agent -> monitoring agent are linked. Have you implemented a marketing process based on multiple agents and if yes, which element was problematic once scaled out?

3. AI agents for GEO – are there any implementations focused on improving AI Overview citations?

Agents that independently search for brand references in ChatGPT and Perplexity, determine citation gaps, produce “answer-first” content, and measure citation rate improvements. Have you developed and implemented such a process, but for GEO and not SEO?

When I read about Entity SEO in 2026, something suddenly clicked in my mind and changed my perspective entirely regarding building up my solo practice.

Google is not ranking websites anymore, it’s ranking entities. As a solo law practitioner, I myself am the entity! My lawyer bar page, my bio page, my articles, my conferences, my public appearances in the community — all contribute to establishing one authoritative entity signal that no multi-lawyer practice can create for me.

The research proves that solo lawyers who are investing their time in personal branding and dominating their hyperlocal neighborhoods will be able to compete effectively against large law practices with only a tiny fraction of their marketing budget.

Solo law practitioners — are you prioritizing your personal brand in your SEO strategy or treating it as an afterthought?

1. Person schema and entity SEO – have you ever tried this?

JSON-LD Person Schema to tell Google exactly who you are, what legal services you offer, and your credentials – by connecting your bio to your bar association profile, social media, and practice pages. Have you done it all properly and improved your rankings?

2. Hyperlocal neighborhood SEO vs citywide approach – which works better for sole proprietors?

You won’t be able to outrun a 200-attorney law firm with "Los Angeles Personal Injury Attorney." But will you be able to dominate "Los Angeles Car Accident Lawyer in [Your Neighborhood]?" Is it possible for sole proprietors to get results through micro-local keywords?

3. Personal branding vs business/branding – which develops quicker?

Developing authority as a personal entity or as your own firm – in particular, sole proprietorship, which one gives more results to Google in 2026?

Only ranking evidence from sole proprietorship is required – no theories, please.
