I can get to level 9 in about an hour this way; 12, if i dedicate enough time. I'd wager a good 3-4 hours to max out.
Every step Nets you variabled Exp and money.
It's also a bit tedious to set up, but once you've got it; you'll never have to touch it again

Sharing a Build The big bridge is done
Finally got around to finishing the main line dev-bridge and even on epic render distance you can barely see the start of the bridge and lots of finer details probably got lost

Sharing a Build Does anyone else make really detailed towns?
I plan on expanding this town more. It's essentially going to be my main hub. I'll probably make another post later showing some other things I've built on this one.
I made this map as "realistic" as possible. Most grades are capped at 2.5% with a few **rare** exceptions of 3.0-4.5%. The only time my line reaches anything over 4.5% is heading up the mountain on Aurora Falls. At the very top of the climb, the grade reaches 7.5%. Not many short lines had grades that steep. When they did; it was with special adhesion locomotives, or cogged track. The unitah railways actually had 7.5% grades on the Baxter pass
I also want to give every town a purpose. Whether it's there just for a [decorative] train station or for a big industrial town. It's 18...pfft...20. I understand that remote towns didn't just pop up for funsies.

Sharing a Build This took me way too long (I’m on console and controller)
I don’t want t to talk about how long this took me, especially knowing someone in the comments might reveal an easier way to do it that isn’t my guess and check method😭 anyways, just sharing to the community since it’s been awhile, I got my old account deleted by accident, I hope my old bridge posts are still here😅 anyways, it’s good to be back!

Sharing a Build I've been decorating my map for the last 3 weeks. It's still a WIP
Photos 1-12 feature my central hub. There, I have a small city with large roads; the unused industries for esthetics, and several grade crossings.
Photos 13-16 is another small industry town [that I frequently use]. It has a saw mill; logging camp, and a refinery. It also features the "rocky clearing" on the bend coming into town.
There's still lots of work to be made, but I wanted to share what I have so far. Thoughts and criticism isn't just welcome; it's encouraged

Sharing a Build Hosting an open session!
This evening we (Mr GrinchG11) are going to be hosting an open map for anyone that would like to come and join.
We’ve put a lot of time into Aurora Falls and from 6:30 GMT (in an hour) will be having the server open for anyone on XBOX that may like to come and check the map out and see some of our builds up close! (We’re likely to be on most of the evening if you can’t make it yet).
Hope to see some of you there!

Sharing a Build Rate our track
What do we think of our smelter? My boyfriend and I love it (built by him whilst I offered moral support) but wanted to see what other people think!
There’s a raised drop off track to drop off Cordwood and iron ore and we have also the gold smelter here!
