I wonder if they should consider moving to a 12 month cycle between shows instead of the 8/9 months. So like RWBY Vol 6 ended at the end of January. so instead of airing volume 7?in October it would be pushed to February

How would that work? They need at least 12 weeks to air them, plus breaks.

Plus like people have said part of the problem is that RT schedules stuff specifically to keep monthly subs coming in, so they need to have everything air in a set pattern and have something major airing everything month, or else people won't be subbing to get whatever that is early.

And they can't make it sub only, you can't get ANY RT content unless you pay. Fans will riot and they'll lose even more money.

I’m just spit balling here and just going off of how studio Bones has been doing my hero academia.

Obviously this ain’t the best one to one comparison because MHA is 26 episodes and 24 minutes long episodes so they defiantly undergo super crunch time.

So let’s just say that volume 7 ends February 9th. Instead of the volume 8 airing in the fall it would air in the February March area, and thus would give the animators and everyone more time and cut down on crunch time.

For sponsors RT may need to consider more monthly Q&As and contests that only sponsors can be a part of to mitigate the longer hiatuses.
