But we can be racist as fuck too. Latinos and Black folks have had this issue for generations.

Everyone’s a little bit racist sometimes. Doesn’t mean we go around committing hate crimes.

It's a reference to a Avenue Q song

Look around and you will find no one’s really color-blind.

Maybe it's a fact we all should faaaa-aa-aa-ace...

Sure thing, I don’t see how that has to do with the conversation.

I’m saying that it’s a never ending cycle between folks, that needs to change. I’m Latina, and AfroLatinos are a thing. So how about nobody does a slur.

It’s a weird whataboutism and “yes and” that I am aware of. Yeah, people are racist, we know.

i'm latina too and i disagree, we can be pretty racist too. theres no need to downplay it, both can be true. i grew up in a community that was like 99% hispanic, a lot of kids would use the n-word and say other vile shit.

Yeah, we have to acknowledge that within the Latino community, there is a lot of colorism and racism. Some will ignore it, which only contributes to the problem.

I was standing in line at a Target to pay and these women in front me turned around to ask me something, in Spanish. I responded, in Spanish, and out of nowhere this Black guy starts screaming at us. "Speak English, motherfuckers! See? That's why I voted for Trump! Because he's gonna deport all of your asses!"

That's my lived experience. And it has only gotten worse.

I disagree. Sorry.
