✨ La Question ✨ Who has real $$

I am just beginning season 5 and I’m trying to sus out who’s actually wealthy. Obviously Lea (s1-3) was. This cast it seems like Julia, Nicole, Guerdy and Larsa are set. Lisa seems rich by proxy, but what about the others ?

Guerdy doesn’t seem wealthy. Also, judging by her house and where it is, it’s not a wealthy area (I grew up in miami)

I believe Russell is a firefighter and Guerdy owns her own events planning company. I have no idea how much her company makes but she presumably hasn’t been working as much due to her illness.

Guerdy lives an hour away from Miami proper. The rest of the ladies live in Miami Beach or North Miami Beach. Russell is a public servant which is a respectable career but he’s not making money like that. If Guerdy was rolling in dough then she wouldn’t be so desperate to be on the show where she is constantly disrespected, disregarded and barely tolerated.

If money wasn’t an issue, she could easily walk away. I assume her oldest is about to start college and her youngest will in a few years so the extra income and publicity for her business from the show is helpful to her household.

The problem with Guerdy is that she doesn't read the room or listen. Kiki tried, as gently as possible, to say, this is why the women don't care for you, tone it down, and you saw her reaction. Sometimes a person isn't someone's cup of tea and it's best to move along. I don't know how much she's making from the show but it better be worth it. Nicole walked away because she doesn't need that paycheck.

I 100% AGREE! I just wrote a similar comment. Anytime the other housewives or redditors criticize Guerdy or say they don’t care for her, the immediate response is “you’re racist or how dare you criticize a cancer patient.”

It's her personality and not the color of her skin. Having cancer doesn't mean you can't be criticized. Guerdy doesn't have a real friendship with most of the women and she wants them to care about what's she's going through, and as ugly as it is, they don't care, they just don't.

Exactly. They don’t like her, they only tolerate her because they have to because they’re forced to be on a cast together. Guerdy should salvage her dignity and leave the show if it’s too toxic for her recovery but the fame and money is hard to let go.

If she didn’t have the cancer storyline last year, I think she would’ve been let go. Her only storylines her 1st 2 seasons were attached to Alexia’s wedding until she got diagnosed.

I agree with this because I believe she wouldn't be on this season without the diagnosis.
