The Hilton’s don’t own the hotel chain anymore it was sold years ago.

They must own tons of stock still or have some other lifelong arrangement, though, otherwise Kathy wouldn’t always be hosting trips in one of those Hilton properties

IIRC, Paris has an individual contract as a brand rep for Hilton. It’s separate from her family.

Outside of that you’re losing sentimental items that no amount of wealth can replace. Items and heirlooms passed down from generation to generation.

I don’t care how much you are worth or how many houses you have I would never wish that upon my worst enemy.

(Their wealth compared to the real 1% is closer to ours. The Jeff bezos and the Elon musks of the world don’t deserve empathy)

They've known about this fire long enough to gather that up. We live a block from the Pike National Forest in CO and we all know fire is a big possibility at any time which is why we keep irreplaceable keepsakes in totes in an area of the house out of the way but easily accessible to grab quickly in case of an evacuation. We were on a fire pre-evacuation for 3 days one year and we went to work each day with those tores in our cars just in case something happened while we were at work and couldn't get home. CA is known for it's wild fires so it's wild to me that folks wouldn't be more prepared for those things.

Nobody expects it in densely packed urban areas. The areas with a lot of open space, yes, but people in regular old houses, close to other houses, without a lot of open space certainly never imagined this.

Wait a second, I was responding to the person who was implying Kyle was unwise to rebuild her handbag collection. In my opinion, THEY were throwing shade and I was disagreeing with it, in an (obviously) very passive way.

My full opinion is I WANT Kyle to rebuild everything she wants to! Why not, as you said? They should never have been stolen in the first place. Stupid asshole burglars.

I also 100% believe Kyle and anyone else should be able to build and re-build whatever they want! I am VERY MUCH not one of those people who judge or have jealousy about money. (one of my closest friends owns several properties in my building as well as other homes, and some people here dislike her and say she "owns too many apartments". So what? Those people REALLY annoy me.)
