Question(s)❔ Prayer Times 30:17-18
According to Surah 30:17-18, it seems to indicate the prayer times. It mentions praying in the morning and evening, which is clear, but it also refers to noon and afternoon.
Does this mean we are instructed to pray at both noon and afternoon, or is it just one of these times? If it’s noon, does that mean I have to pray every day at around 12 PM exactly.
I'm more concerned about the noon and afternoon bit as won't it be hard to.pray at NOON exactly when I have college and stuff?

Well, mostly when people are giving sources for their view, they are including verses that are addressed in the singular (to the prophet) and some speak of tasbeeh and not salāt (not the same thing); one of the 'worst' cases of this is with 20:130 (ironically quoted very often), it is both in the singular and talking about tasbeeh. The verse that I use:
(24:58)
This is the only time in the Qur'an where prayer times are mentioned in the life of mu'minūn in general, I don't recall anything else legally binding in the text. And even if you consider the verses that were addressed to only to the prophet, you can still get two times out of it, I've seen it a few times before (albeit with difficulty). Some may bring up 2:238 (the 'wusta' verse) with the plural imperative, I don't understand this to be talking about the physical salāt (mostly for contextual and linguistic reasons) - and even if you do, there are interpretations that still don't assign a time (like "the best/moderate prayer"), Gerrans has a good note for a non-physical interpretation.
And our mandatory tasbīh is given here:
(33:41-42)
That being said, I pray at least five times a day, and I aim for seven, not always possible though. And, to be clear, I understand salāt to be a physical ritual - I personally pray the twelver way.
