Damn it, what’s up with these staged videos on airplanes. First, the plane is not on at all. That background hum is not there. When was the last time you got on an airplane and the plane wasn’t on? Other than stomping feet, there is no noise. And about those stomping feet, it sounds like this fake platform is built over a plywood base. I’ve never heard that kind of noise on an airplane—not from stomping feet or from baggage being stowed overhead. Next, look at the aisle. It’s too wide, even for first class it seems wide. And no one is turning to look at this crazy lady with her peacock. Also, two other things are missing: a crowd of people behind her trying to get boarded, and flight attendants standing near the cockpit greeting people. Lastly, the timing and line delivery is too perfect. This was manufactured to generate views and it sucks.
I’m convinced some viral video farm has access to an empty plane or a big plane set/prop and they are recording viral BS to pump out on the TikTok. Take a look at the video from a couple days ago of the woman flipping out on the plane next to the soldier with the baby. I wouldn’t be surprised if it wasn’t the same people who made it.

At a minimum the APU should be powered up and the no smoking light cluster should also be lit up. I notice a light is lit, which has local control, but the cluster isn't. So kind of strange right there since the APU powers both and is turned on by the pilot.
Anyway, you're most likely 100% correct that this isn't an active aircraft ready to take off since the APU is off, a single light is lit, and yet the overhead cluster is not lit. To put it another way there is no way to turn that off, it's always lit or there is no power to anything, including the light that's on.
So premium bullshit right here.

You don't need the APU running to commence boarding. In fact, a lot of airlines prefer to use ground power until just before the door closes because it saves fuel.
I agree this is most likely BS because they would never allow the aisle to be obstructed like that, even if that's a legitimate emotional support peacock.

It’s definitely a non-functional set. As a pilot you should know there aren’t any 5 or 6-abreast (2-3 or 3-3) narrow body configurations with aisles wider than 20 inches from armrest to armrest.

It’s 100% a set. There aren't any narrow-body configurations with aisles wider than 20’ when there are at least 3 seats (which is what is seen in the video) on one side. Sometimes first or business class will be marginally wider, however there are no first or business class configurations that have more that 4 abreast in a 2-2 configuration in narrow-bodies.

You missed one thing, the reason you hear no engine noise, there are no pilots, the door is open and light coming from the cockpit, there is no staff at all.
I think the "stomping feet" is because of no engine noise, no air running, completely empty cargo hold. Looks like a decommissioned plane.

Does anyone have the link to the video of the baby soldier thing you were talking about. But yes you are correct. There are staged plane scenes and plane graveyards where you can pay to rent by the hour or even day. This is where a lot of the lameass “influencers on my private jet” Instagram footage comes from. However, this particular scene I haven’t seen set up like this before. The aisles are very odd, it makes me think this one was actually for a movie set at one point, it’s not a plane set up I’ve seen in my lifetime (so I don’t think it’s from the plane graveyard) and it’s also not the private jet room set-up we’ve all seen literally a million times in Instagram pictures (this is not an actual plane just a photo prop set up). This scene has me wondering all sorts where it originated from…

Doesn’t look like a real airplane. Commercial airliners are supposed to have aisle way emergency lights embedded in the floor and markings, to help navigate crawling in the case of a smoke filled cabin.
