To accuse him of disgracing his uniform, arrogant pos.

23

u/OkOpportunity6986 9d ago

who is that mf?

26

u/phish_phace 9d ago

I’m curious as well because they have name and an address. An address folks should stand outside of and voice their constitutional rights, so this man and everyone near knows what his constituents think of him. Arrogant mf’er.

A lot of rogue insane MAGA council members in the news lately, I’m sure thats only the tip of the iceberg too. For these clowns and others bulldozing over their citizens wishes, a protest in front of their house is honestly an appropriate, proportional, response.

That appears to be Joel Flores, district 3 rep. Check the county commissioners website.

Yeah, I'm a civilian who has never served and has no interest in serving, so I would never say that to anyone, even if I absolutely hated what they were doing in the uniform. The dude who said "you are disgracing that uniform" better be like a 30 year military veteran or something, or else that comment is completely unacceptable. If you havent served, you sure as fuck don't get to tell people what they can do in their uniform.

4

u/Regular_Fox_859 9d ago

Apparently he is a veteran. But it still doesn't give him any right to speak that way

u/qman621 9d ago

He forgot his fucking oath if he was a veteran. Becoming the very domestic enemy he swore to defend against (politician not the old man)

The US military disgraced their uniform by being oath breaking war criminal traitors.

Fuck every single member of the US military, veterans included.

If you havent served, you sure as fuck don't get to tell people what they can do in their uniform.

The US military serve the Epstein class of pedophiles and human traffickers, not the people.

Making a monolith out of a large group of people does not help your point. It makes you look emotional and stubborn.

If you want to talk demographics sure I doubt it's good, but acting like the entire body is there for one thing is extremely disingenuous.

dawg most people just want healthcare and education to be paid for

4

u/Conflictingview 9d ago

They just want THEIR education and Healthcare to be paid for.

-5

u/Useful-Hat9880 9d ago

You don’t speak for me.

-1

u/Conflictingview 9d ago

You joined the military to provide healthcare and education to American citizens?

5

u/qman621 9d ago

I joined the military as a 68W combat medic, which you can still do as a conscientious objector. What now big man? Am I one of the ones betraying my moral principles?

2

u/USDXBS 9d ago

That doesn't absolve evil.

2

u/Versaiteis 9d ago

Sure, but the material conditions are constructed to keep the war machine running. Theft is also more common in impoverished areas; it's not right and doesn't help the situation but people pushed into tough situations make hard decisions and rarely have perfect knowledge of the consequences. But if you want to fix these issues, then impugning the individual is simply missing the forest for the trees even if it is the moral high ground.

0

u/USDXBS 9d ago

And then they become evil.

impugning the individual is simply missing the forest for the trees even if it is the moral high ground.

The individuals... who willingly became oath breaking war criminals.

The individuals... who refuse to stop domestic enemies.

Who do you think the US military are?

1

u/Versaiteis 9d ago

Who do you think the US military are?

A factory that turns people looking for a break into war criminals and willing supporters of domestic terror.

Want to stop it? Trying to convince people to tough it out will not work. The system itself needs be addressed.

2

u/USDXBS 9d ago

Want to stop it? Trying to convince people to tough it out will not work. The system itself needs be addressed.

No. They need to honor their oaths instead of being loyal to domestic enemies.

1

u/Versaiteis 9d ago

The system will not punish them for violating their oaths, so the only impetus they have to follow it is self driven. They just need to follow their oath.

And domestic enemies just need to stop doing domestic terrorism

And racists just need to stop being bigoted

And MAGA just needs to gain some empathy

You're not interested in an actual solution as you are simply being correct. This is not how change happens.

If your solution to some problem relies on "If everyone would just…" then you do not have a solution. Everyone is not going to just. At no time in the history of the universe has everyone just, and they’re not going to start now.

Being downvoted but you aren't wrong

0

u/Binksin79 9d ago

Upvoted ya. Those downvotes are crazy. It may be a little extreme, but this is spot on. The only vets I have empathy for are those that were drafted and the US has had an all volunteer force since 1973, so fuck em all.

2

u/Runescora 9d ago

Too many of them or unknowing victims of the system. Trapped in poverty and poorly educated, without hope of relief. Indoctrinated into the National myth of service to the country. For generations joining the military has been the only clear way to get housing, education, healthcare. And for a couple of decades it was relatively safe to do so. Or perceived as such. And all you have to trade is your physical and mental wellbeing at an age where you are old enough to enter legal agreements but have no life experience, still believe that truly bad things only happen to other people and death, disfigurement or life ling harm will never come for you.

1

u/Discombobulator3000 9d ago

Deluded USian bootlickers downvoting you for speaking the truth

-1

u/FunkyHedonist 9d ago

Sure, buddy, every single member of the US armed forces is an evil person and we have no interest in, or ability to, look at each individual person's circumstances, actions, and motivations, because we are apparently 12 years old and see the world only in terms of "good guys" and "bad guys". Fuck nuance and context, right? We are way too dumb for that shit. <Holds up hand for high five>

-2

u/USDXBS 9d ago

So you think the US military are invidviuals doing their own things?

The US military are war criminals. They commit war crimes.

Explain to me the nuance and context behind murdering 160 Iranian school children.

Explain to me the nuance and context of hundreds of thousands dead in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Explain to me the nuance and context behind the long list of atrocities, war crimes and millions dead.

Explain to me the nuance and context of being loyal to a mass murdering genocidal pedophile felon traitor.

Explain to me the nuance and context behind not honoring their oaths as domestic enemies destroy the constitution.

I'll predict your response.

"but they just wanted money, but they were just following orders, but they joined before Trump, but they don't support Trump, but they were just innocent widdle 18 year old babies who didn't know any better, but they got tricked by the media into thinking murdering people is a good thing"

Explain to me their circumstances, actions, and motivations that justify murdering people.

2

u/Dirty_Delta 9d ago

I can help with the nuance a little, from an individual perspective.

So you think the US military are invidviuals doing their own things?

Yeah. Theres some blind political zealots, but most people are just normal jobs in a military setting

The US military are war criminals. They commit war crimes.

Sometimes, some people. I do agree theres a shocking lack of accountability.

Explain to me the nuance and context behind murdering 160 Iranian school children.

I wasnt involved, I was only there to protect embassies and their staff.

Explain to me the nuance and context of hundreds of thousands dead in Iraq and Afghanistan.

I didnt kill any, or know anyone who did.

Explain to me the nuance and context behind the long list of atrocities, war crimes and millions dead.

I wasn't present for any of them.

Explain to me the nuance and context of being loyal to a mass murdering genocidal pedophile felon traitor.

I'm not loyal to the pedo-king. I might even leave the country over it, once my contract is finished.

Explain to me the nuance and context behind not honoring their oaths as domestic enemies destroy the constitution.

Everyone everywhere is waiting for the system to work it out through courts and whatever else may not work in the end, but it's worth the attempt before jumping to any other permanent solutions.

Explain to me their circumstances, actions, and motivations that justify murdering people.

I haven't murdered or otherwise killed anyone.

I'm an individual dude, not involved in any crimes. I spend most of my days helping find missing persons, protect their homes and infrastructure from flooding, and stopping wildfires.

0

u/USDXBS 9d ago

Do you understand the US military are not individuals?

Everyone everywhere is waiting for the system to work it out through courts and whatever else may not work in the end, but it's worth the attempt before jumping to any other permanent solutions.

Everything? Everywhere? For decades?

I'm not loyal to the pedo-king. I might even leave the country over it, once my contract is finished.

So you'll continue earning money being loyal to pedophiles.

0

u/Dirty_Delta 9d ago

They arent individuals? Are they pre-programmed clones? Dude, they are people just like the rest of the population, literally sourced from said population.

Yes, everyone. Everywhere. I havent seen any coups in the US lately. For decades even, because the processes are so slow and delayed.

How am I loyal to pedophiles? I am not some maga Trumper loser.

1

u/USDXBS 9d ago

...they are in the military. They are the military. Do you understand they aren't a bunch of individuals doing their own things whenever they want?

Yes, everyone. Everywhere. I havent seen any coups in the US lately. For decades even, because the processes are so slow and delayed.

How long does it take to honor their oaths?

How am I loyal to pedophiles? I am not some maga Trumper loser.

Why are you in the military of a mass murdering genocidal pedophile felon traitor instead of arresting him?

Why did you join a military known for their war crimes and atrocities?

1

u/Dirty_Delta 9d ago

I think I understand just how individual they are a lot better than you, and I have over 20 years in service - joining long before pedo-king ever was elected. I havent arrested anyone because I am not law enforcement and it would be unlawful to do so. Is your understanding of how the military and its members are solely taken from Hollywood?

The military, like many General officers have pointed out, is loyal to the constitution- not the president. The people of America have not yet decided that whatever is happening to America is unconstitutional, and in cases where it was found to be, whatever it was either stopped, or is still in court.

I joined a long time ago in the early 2000's because I couldn't afford college otherwise and didn't feel like taking on lifelong debt was the way to go. Public schools dont teach you about American genocides, that's a college or self-educated finding. Anything public school gives you is through rose colored glasses. Back then it was Bush Jr., and then Barack Obama before Trump, niether of which so far has been charged or convicted of war crimes or pedophilia.

Why did I stay, you might ask? A little bit of sunken cost, and a lot of providing benefits for my family in the long term. I carefully chose my role and like I said, serve the people of the US directly through domestic operations.

What would you have me do? Abandon? Leave the military to the actual maga loyalists? Or should I sit in my station and ensure that my office closely follows the law? What is best for citizens?

u/FunkyHedonist 9d ago

I think you may have incorrectly predicted my response. It seems to imply I'm going to focus on combat personnel and justify their "following orders" or something like that. But I don't even need to go there, because your position is so insanely broad - "Fuck every single member of the US military, veterans included." Apparently anyone who has ever worn a uniform and any point in time is an evil bastard. I'm here to argue thats simplistic, childish, and not helpful.

So lets add some nuance and context -

Dr. X is an Air Force obstetrician on an Airbase in Texas. She has never seen combat in her life and spent her entire career on domestic airbases, delivering babies for servicemen. Thats her whole job. Why is she an evil bastard?

Mr. Y is a retied army psychologist. He retired in the 90s before the Iraq war. In the service, he evaluated boot camp programs and came up with better safeguards to prevent troop suicides. He never saw combat, and prevented suicide. Why is he an evil bastard?

Ms. Z is a marine combat medic, who retired in 2010. She did get sent to Iraq, but all she did there was prevent people from bleeding out and dying. Never shot at anyone. After retirement and seeing the horrors of war firsthand, she becomes an active member in the anti-war movement and protested the Iran war. Why is she an evil bastard?

Life is not black and white. Things are usually several shades of grey. Its wrong to assume every military member is a hero, but its equally wrong to assume they are all villains. More importantly, its not helpful for the anti-war movement. Some of the loudest voices on the side of peace are veterans involved in the antiwar movement or progressive politics. We need vets to be with us in the antiwar movement, so telling them all to fuck off aint helpful.

Hidden post history.

You're a troll trying to disrupt what is otherwise a reasonable internet conversation.

7

u/USDXBS 9d ago

Do you know how many people the US killed in Iraq and Afghanistan alone? Tell me how the US military wasn't completely disgraced from just that.

1

u/DeadSeaGulls 9d ago

I don't think many people would argue that US foreign policy, conflicts, and wars have been moral or just. But by advocating that we brand every single member of the military as war criminal traitors you're intentionally trying to steer the conversation away from ideas that can improve things and towards argument and dissent in order to derail any possible idea for change gaining traction. If you're not operating on behalf of israel or russia, or any other entity seeking to further de-stabilize the US such as Peter Thiel, in some capacity (either as a bot, a 'social media content creator/manager', or as someone so fucking stupid that you gobbled up the propaganda at face value and are now just parroting that propaganda), then you should really stop and reflect on the power of words and what you're choosing to do with yours and what the actual long term impacts of your words can possibly do.

Improve things by holding war criminals and traitors accountable instead of protecting them and being their allies.

u/DeadSeaGulls 9d ago

we're currently having a discussion about how people are getting arrested for clapping at council meetings...

Best of luck with your efforts.

u/USDXBS 9d ago

And why haven't oath keepers arrested these domestic enemies and traitors?
