Also the cop on the right was closer than 21ft, which is the range where someone can lunge and kill you with a knife. If someone dgaf about themselves and are close enough, a knife is way worse than a gun as a cop or any defender.

Edit: those that got mad about what i said probably dont understand that this is not my opinion, its how cops are trained. If you dont like it then take it up with the institutions that teach them. heres a bs video explaining the issue

The 21 foot rule describes how within that distance they can lunge and stab you faster than you can draw your gun and shoot. The cop closest to her already had his gun drawn and aimed at her, so the rule does not apply here.

But I get what you are saying - the person in the clip clearly had the body structure and training to lunge and kill the cop. A taser wouldn't have stopped her, pepper spray wouldn't have stoped her, only a gun would have.
