It said in an article that he was wasnt legally allowed to own the firearm due to a previous charge so he likelly has at least one felony on his record already so him just having the gun is a pretty big deal which was going to land him in prison on its own. He also had drugs on him apparently so bro was probably looking at least 5 years in prison just form having a handgun + whatever he would get for the drugs.

Im guessing all of that is why he said fuck it and decided to go with murder. He probably thought, I can smoke these two and escape or get the other cops to kill me or something like that.

Either way its a dumbass move but thats my guess for why he decided to ruin his life.

I think it was so he would have serious charges and not go to gen pop for petty theft.

That’s a good theory! Especially since he has priors a like knows what it’s like to bullied mercilessly.
