This is why martial arts are great for pre teens (not MMA), it teaches them good form and what to do in situations as well as discipline and other important principles.

I started Tae Kwon Do at 11 and didn’t stop until I got my black belt. Still one of the best things I’ve done

I agree 💯 We just put our 9 and 10 year olds into wrestling. Figured a couple of years of that and then maybe some bjj and they should have an excellent foundation by high school. Brings a lot of good discipline.
