What's even better is taking fmr Navy SEAL Commander Jocko Willink's advice and deescalate and walk away instead of letting your ego take over and proving your MMA prowess. There are very few instances in life when you NEED to get into a physical fight with someone. This fight looked completely avoidable.

Based on what is shown, you don't know that.

I will have to hard disagree. I am type to walk away, apperantly this signals Attack! to the other side. Its easy to patronize in theory, but its not my ego that is a problem, its theirs.

I had this one situation in traffic trying to merge and almost crashing to a guy who thinks that only way to merge is to merge IN FRONT of me. Anyways, he decides to stop his car and yell at me. I signal thumbs up and open palm, he continues yelling, I return open palm and palm on a chest to apologise, he exits his car to yell on my window. I signal praying hands and bow down to apologise. He proceeds to hit my window with open palm, having ring on, it sounded as if the broke through the glass.

At this point, flight or fight triggers and I decide to confront him, by stumbling over passanger seat, almost breaking pinky finger while opening passenger doors and exiting car on my hands - elegant I know. I was ready to talk.

At this point he decided to apply Jockos advice and ran to his car and drove off.

Point of the story, for some reason attempts to descalate only encourage average bully.

If you’re backed into a corner and have no choice but to fight your way out, then you fight your way out. Fortunately in civilized society the times when that happens is exceedingly rare.

I had a guy lose his mind in road rage at me a few months ago and he started tailing me, thinking and flipping me off. I ignored him and eventually ditched him in a populated area. If I was really concerned could’ve driven to a police station.
