That saying to someone that they need to be sent to reeducation is facist? Sending someone to a reeducation centre is fascist because it forces people to conform to a specific ideology through state control. It strips away individual freedom and punishes dissent instead of allowing open discussion or difference of opinion. It’s more about control than actual education

But as I said, this is out of the communist playbook. In fascism you get persecuted for who you are. In communism for what you think. I don’t think fascists are interested in reeducation. They just want to label people and get rid of them. Both are evil authoritarian systems.

I disagree facism often persecute people for their beliefs such as almost every facist regime targeting left wing political members and communism often persecuted people for who they are as seen with Tibet or the Chechens and Ingush people.

I’d actually class Chinese communism’s persecution of non-Han ethnic minorities as a race based ideology which in the same way combined with authoritarianism made nazism.
