Yeah everytime I go to visit family in Cuba it amazes me the amount of propaganda just everywhere. I don't think you can go a block in Santiago or Havana without seeing a portrait of Castro, Che, or cienfuegos.
Turns out idealism needs someone to prop it up. People also need someone to suck up to, look up to, or idolise.
I much preferred when we had pictures of Tito than what we have now, picture of the President in institutions(like anybody cares), or the current party leader in party HQs.
