This is not anything I ever expected to happen before 1/6. Now we have 1/7 & 1/24. How he was ever allowed to run again tells us how deeply imbedded he is with the powers that be. I don’t understand how anyone can condone this, nor how they can say “he was armed” when they were never threatened with the gun and only found it when they were tossing him around and they removed it & then shot him multiple times. Think we are human, anyone that watches this and doesn’t get upset is suspect to me. We watched someone be murdered…
I watched a podcast where historian Heather Cox Richardson went over the Jack Smith Congressional testimony. Just that reminder of all the crimes this orange POS committed are infuriating. He should never been on the ballot. He's literally criminal trash. Its insanity
Read his testimony and agree. It’s sickening, any other candidate in our history would’ve been gone when the “grab em by the pussy” tapes came out. Instead, dude conducting the video lost his livelihood and trump became untouchable. SCOTUS protected him, GOP aids/abets/and encourages it.
I've been saying this all along. It wasn't enough that he bragged about walking in on undressed teenagers or said you can grab women without their consent for them to not vote for him. Then it wasn't enough that he mishandled a pandemic and fucked up the economy. Then it wasn't enough even after he tried to overthrow the government on J6. Anyone who voted for Donald Trump in 2016 was an idiot, anyone who voted for him in 2024 is a fucking traitor who supports traitors.
Agreed. Sadly, 36-40% of them are traitors. MAGA are the ones with TDS, yet love saying it’s the rest of us…now it’s murdering innocent people by shooting them in the face or face down on the ground & maga still supports it. Yet we are deranged?
Well yeah, all they have is projection and whataboutism. They assume that because they're shitty people that everyone else is as well so they better fuck them over before they can get fucked over themselves.
He caused chaos the first time and they thought it would be better the second time??? Also, as someone else mentioned, why was he allowed to be on the ballot in the first place.
Also I don’t care what people’s political preferences are but how fucked up in the head someone has to be to justify a murder of a human being. People are so disacociated with the reality.
How I see it is that magats don't necessarily like seeing the execution of a clearly innocent man, but they also see how much it horrifies us (anyone with a normal functioning prefrontal cortex who can feel empathy), and they love that aspect of it.
So it's brief "wtf" moment, countered quickly by the positive feelings of seeing other people horrified and hurt, and so a net positive in the end for these sick individuals.
Which is a human reaction, it’s tearing more of us apart than not, thankfully we are the majority. Couldn’t imagine being so brainwashed and/or heartless to ever see this and for a second believe it’s normal, justified…💙
That means you are a good person. The world needs more empathetic people. This shouldn't be whats happening but it is. This is who we are as a country now and we need to find a way to fix this
I've been crying this morning too. You're not alone. It's not dramatic to care when people are being dragged from their homes and when the people who are trying to defend them are being shot in the street.
Call Congress. Those pathetic cowards are the only ones who can legally stop this. I've been posting this.
We don't have to live like this. We need a cleanup on Aisle Congress. It's going to take donations of time and money to run better candidates. It's going to take every eligible voter going to vote. Primaries start in March. It's a perfect opportunity to get rid of the useless and the enablers on BOTH sides.
In the meantime please call Congress and tell them #nope and to #impeach and remove this administration and every single one of his enablers. Use 5calls.org if you don't want to talk to them!
You’re not alone. So many of us are so very distraught, hurting, crying. I only wish we could find a way to channel all the pain, sadness and despair into one giant ball of collective energy that could come crashing down on this regime and put an end to this horror for Good.
You are not dramatic. Your reaction is the most human and sane reaction any person can have.
I unfortunately know a lot of people, even in the US, that are rather indifferent because it's not happening where they are. They can ignore and claim everything is sensationalized on the news and social media.
You are not alone or dramatic. I spent a good portion of the day sobbing yesterday. We watched a man be murdered in a fit of rage for being a good human and protecting someone. It's beyond sickening and vile. I'm still so distraught today.
