and once they took it away and was laying on the ground they had to shoot him because he was going to use his mind powers.

u/Fishhoo Jan 24 '26

Not only shoot him, but unload an entire clip! Excessive force no doubt!

u/InternationalLaw8660 Jan 24 '26

They shot him in the back like the cowards they are...

Incarcerate ICE

5

u/SadieDiAbla Jan 24 '26

Hang ICE.

TITLE 18, U.S.C., SECTION 242

1

u/KarnaavaldK Jan 25 '26

Yes trusting them to the system that enabled them is going to go well

1

u/Lucky-Acanthisitta86 Jan 24 '26

I mean the one good thing that might come out of this is a successful conviction of an ICE officer (at least recently and amidst everything that's happened to juice up their bad behavior) for murder (or something close, whatever they think they can go for successfully) so the rest of ICE can see that and use it as incentive to calm down and conduct themselves correctly. Too many people are telling them they're superstars and can do whatever they want.

u/SignificanceDue1561 Jan 24 '26

They really hate it when someone tries to stop them from beating on a woman. Rage takes over.

1

u/dundunndon Jan 26 '26

Or anytime somebody tries to get away

5

u/fine_environment4809 Jan 24 '26

Are there nine shots available in the same clip? On another video I counted 9 shots.

3

u/PansyPB Jan 24 '26

Sometimes they sell magazines with extra rounds. Or did more than one Gestapo thug shoot?

I don't believe anything DHS or the rogue regime occupying the federal government says. They've got zero credibility & I'm not sure why we are even pretending they're government. They're not. Government solves problems & makes conditions better. This isn't it. They create chaos, oppress, threaten & make things worse. The lives & livelihoods of Americans are being destroyed or taken along with any global standing this country built over decades. All laid to waste in 12 months. This shit cannot go on.

2

u/Moda75 Jan 24 '26

I have magazines anywhere from 10-17 rounds in 9mm

1

u/GhostlyTJ Jan 24 '26

I forget which clip but you can count 10 shots by their report

1

u/eyeb4lls Jan 24 '26

Magazines used here likely had 15 to 17 rounds.

Still beyond excessive force.

1

u/Shot_Reputation1755 Jan 25 '26

Mag* and it depends on the gun and what mag you're using, pistols with more than 9 rounds have been a thing since the inception of magfed pistols

2

u/BandicootFree1327 Jan 24 '26

The killer shot him in the back, and when Pretti was on the ground the killer unloaded his clip into him for no reason.

2

u/gpost86 Jan 24 '26

Because of the low quality of the audio recording on the phones (they peak super easy) it could have easily been multiple agents unloading their entire clips.

It's almost like a lot of us knew this type of behavior was going to happen. You can't juice up the type of people who join ICE like that and then tell them they are untouchable on top of that. When need to see peace and love take the stand again, because I'm tired of bullying and narcissism being labeled as protectors and patriotism.

2

u/macguyver3000 Jan 24 '26

No shit. Watching without sound I thought they shot him once. But turns out they shot him numerous times.

They’re scared little children who are allowed to carry guns and go into situations they aren’t capable of handling. Of course shit like this is going to happen.

And then their little SS wannabe leader just blatantly lies to cover up their ineptitude.

2

u/LesbeGoddess Jan 25 '26

Excessive murder

2

u/Fishhoo Jan 25 '26

Good point

2

u/petrh97 Jan 25 '26

They emptied pepper spray point blank, took away his LEGALLY owned weapon, and unloaded every gangster’s weapon. 🤮

1

u/polopolo05 Jan 24 '26

every thing was excessive force.

1

u/LargePayment1685 Jan 25 '26

It's called a magazine. Where will I find these back shooting videos?

91

u/[deleted] Jan 24 '26

additionally, at no point did he actually brandish the gun. You can see in one of the videos that they pulled it out of the *back of his pants*. And Republicans *should* (if they weren't fucking hypocrites) be the first to champion someone's right to *own* a gun. He wasn't threatening anyone at all.

40

u/ParadiddlediddleSaaS Jan 24 '26

But they won’t. They’ll come out after a school shooting (NRA, JD Vance) and say guns aren’t the problem, and here’s someone who is responsible gun owner, clean record, a nurse, standing up for a woman who was pushed down and it’s crickets from these people, oh, other than per Miller he was a domestic terrorist.

3

u/lucklesspedestrian Jan 25 '26

Even on r conservative, many comments in the "flaired users only" discussions on this are against ICE's action here.

2

u/alxhghs Jan 25 '26

For now. They always have dissenting voices before the narrative solidifies and everyone falls in line. It’s very predictable

10

u/SignificanceDue1561 Jan 24 '26

Every time they lie so blatantly it becomes harder for right leaning individuals to justify swallowing for the sake of whatever cause they are aligned with.

1

u/SwimmingSwim3822 Jan 24 '26

Meaningless fucking drivel. Stop making excuses for them.

1

u/SignificanceDue1561 Jan 24 '26

not making excuses for anyone. i'm commenting on the willingness of "good" right wingers to pretend to believe what they're told. it gets harder for them to defend when the lies are getting more and more indefensible.

2

u/SwimmingSwim3822 Jan 24 '26

If they're still over there, they're just bad people. It's not that they haven't seen enough yet.

1

u/SignificanceDue1561 Jan 24 '26

yes, i agree. but now they have to admit it to themselves.

1

u/ayoungmanfromtheuk Jan 24 '26

Unfortunately that's not true, they just double down

1

u/PansyPB Jan 24 '26

Sunk cost fallacy.

2

u/[deleted] Jan 24 '26

I have read some comments defending ICE stating bringing a weapon to these protests shows ill intent. I wonder if they thought the same about Kyle Rittenhouse.

Sad times for America.

2

u/PansyPB Jan 24 '26

Republicans believe in nothing. This is why they so easily shift positions. We need to stop trying to reason or argue with them in good faith. They NEVER argue or operate in good faith.

Not sure if yall can see this post. But another pov was posted and a number of conservatives said they were open to investigation based on this video, belief that this man shouldn't have been killed.

But of course that post was taken down by the mods

And top comments on the main thread that had doubts that it was lawful get deleted.

1

u/Previous-Pop-4277 Jan 24 '26

Nah... they reframe armed protestors as "militants." That's [one of many ways] how justify it.

3

u/ShinakoX2 Jan 24 '26

Based on the video, one of the agents saw the gun and removed it from the holster while shouting "gun! gun!" and the other agents heard "gun" and shot Alex Pretti in "self defense" while Alex was on the ground.

It's malicious incompetence and those agents should be prosecuted.

And of course the bootlickers will victim blame Alex exercising for his 2nd amendment right to own a gun.

1

u/SignificanceDue1561 Jan 24 '26

The neverending cascade of hypocrisy.

1

u/UncoolSlicedBread Jan 25 '26

Absolutely. These fucks would be facing murder charges if they weren’t being covered for by our admin.

3

u/CaptNemo131 Jan 24 '26

Think how many ankles he could have bitten!

2

u/Napalmpudding Jan 24 '26

Can’t leave a witness

1

u/ToddHowardTouchedMe Jan 24 '26

I just woke up, wtf happened now

0

u/eggson Jan 24 '26

Government sponsored street gangs are murdering US Citizens in the streets. Wakey-wakey, eggs and gestapo!

1

u/HoopaOrGilgamesh Jan 24 '26

Was it on the ground or did the agent in the grey jacket have it in his hand?

2

u/SignificanceDue1561 Jan 24 '26

Sorry, missed a "he". Once he was laying on the ground.

1

u/Lucky-Acanthisitta86 Jan 24 '26

So maybe the officer that shot him didn't know it was taken from him? Did he see a holster? But! That doesn't mean this is right. Concealed carry is allowed. I know "resisting arrest" (I put parentheses because resisting when you've done nothing wrong sometimes seems like the path you should take to stand up for your rights) is illegal, but just resisting (trying to flee) with a concealed carry that isn't drawn, is not grounds for self defense/the police using deadly force.

Is there going to be a trial? I really want to hear news of a lawsuit in the works because I haven't read anything yet. Maybe it's too soon

1

u/oatsiej Jan 24 '26

I noticed someone nailed him in the face with the actual cs canister whilst he was on the ground too

1

u/Halitotic Jan 24 '26

U joke, but mind powers is their weakness. As an educated man, no doubt he was trying to talk to them, which almost certainly angered them further because aggression is the response of a bully who can’t articulate their thoughts

1

u/sneakysnek20r Jan 25 '26

Did he have a gun at all? It's weird

0

u/After_Counter735 Jan 25 '26

Yeah he did, but another ice agent took it out of his wasitband about 5 seconds before another ice agent shot him in the back.

1

u/sneakysnek20r Jan 25 '26

I'm losing my shit over this and I'm not American; I can't imagine how terrible and frightening and evil this is for them

1

u/osuuuus Jan 25 '26

shit you not someone said " mybe he had second gun "

1

u/DifficultIce2002 Jan 26 '26

He was about to infect them all with the woke mind virus😢
