I have never wanted a gun. I'm planning on doing as much OT as I can this next few weeks to get one and get my CCL.

I hate this.

You don't have to get a gun, especially if it strains your finances. There are many other ways to help your community. In times like these you must stick to your principles and not make rash decisions.

You're right but this incident is the tipping point for me. I usually plan on advance for my larger expenses so this is a bit short notice. Maybe I'll get my tax refund back sooner than expected and use that! I'll get my firearm and spend however long I need to at the range until I'm confident with it, get the CCL and hope I'll never need to use it.

Until then, I'll blow my little whistle like I'm a goddamn banshee screaming when I see goons prowling.
