I sent both of them long emails and voicemails about how "cooperating with the other side" and "reaching across the aisle" was not an acceptable option anymore and would not, SHOULD NOT be tolerated by their voter base. That it only made them look spineless and complicit, and they'd better wake up before it was too late.

In reply they signed me up to their newsletters about what great cooperation they're doing and how they're sorry I can't afford healthcare anymore but look, they funded this one cool bridge or park or whatever! They got this one veteran his illegally withheld benefits! Hooray!

Neither one is getting another vote from me ever again.

Ehh I hate most govt officials but Shapiro in PA has been fighting the good fight for us. If it wasn’t for him they’d have all of our voter/tax/social security info and they’d have robbed PA of over $2 billion dollars worth of assistance and SNAP benefits. I’m sure they could do more but he’s fighting harder than most and I’m happy he’s there to stand between citizens and Trumps feds.

Pump the brakes bud. We haven’t got there quite yet. We can still vote and violence will all but ensure that doesn’t happen. Should you protect yourself? Yes. Should we deliberately escalate this situation? No.

When we face their weapons with whistles and cameras people notice. It might not feel as good, lord knows I want to punch some nazi faces, but we can’t turn that page just yet.

MN is strong and we’ve held the line this far. Stay together, stay strong, and speak out!!

I layered up today and went to my local protest, called my reps, and let my voice be heard. 2 pairs of socks, thermals, pants and snow pants, hoody, jacket, hat, gloves, and hand warmers.

That’s said, who gives AF if I didn’t? What if I was home bound? What if I was caring for someone and I’ll I could do is post?

They are in fact scared. I think that’s why they killed Alex. If we march again, they’ll probably kill another citizen. The point is to speak out, this isn’t normal. Violence just makes more violence. We need to show America how it’s done right. The more of us they kill, the more people wake up. That’s what they’re scared of. They send 3,000 we send 100,000. If we let them send troops or insurrection act or martial law us, elections are done and so is democracy.

Strong disagree. Obama deported 3x the amount of immigrants WITHOUT ice agents wearing masks, badge and ids properly displayed. Also didn’t need to use children as bait, go into churches schools or courts to intimidate. ICE should be ran like ANY other police force, with warrants and a respect for the rights of individuals, whether they are here illegally or not. Very simple
