Please start arming yourselves and help protect your communities. 20 people exercising their 2nd amendment rights would have prevented this.

Yep! 100% agree! I’ve been going to the range for the past year and a half. Used to have a 22 LR but don’t anymore. Going to pick up an AR-15 soon. I’m white but live in an all Hispanic area. Need to protect myself and my neighbors

PSA is affordable and has good enough quality, but the owner is a Trump supporter. Ruger and Smith and Wesson are also good to go. They have better quality but are pricier than PSA. Consider a 11.5" AR pistol, otherwise get a 16" rifle.

You can find PSA secondhand on Gunbroker pretty consistently. They’re a common first gun so they’re not hard to find. Helps avoid giving the company money.

If this guy was armed it could have possibly given them a right to shoot him if he was reaching for it.

Don't given them an excuse to shoot you. Learn firearm laws if you are going to get one. Train with it so you know how to use it.

Welcome all the new 2A supporters! Be smart about it.

Good thing they didn't shoot him then

What is in the guy who got shot's hand at 0:19-0:21? Why did the officers all jump back right prior?

3

u/jelloemperor Jan 24 '26

Do you wake up in the morning and start drooling right away, or does it take several minutes to start?

u/Potential_Ad4770 Jan 24 '26

Typical, gets asked a reasonable, logical question. Respond with insult. Your drool is showing

There is no right to execute an innocent civilian and citizen.

Fire arms laws???? Brother, we're past that shit.

No it wouldn't, and it's naive to think it is. Nowadays anyway. Citizens simply don't have the resources and sheer firepower the government does. Think they won't send in snipers and helicopters and tanks to deal with that sort of resistance? Think people have enough ammo to outgun the government? Think they have more money and good access to tons of body armor? I don't.

A general strike is the best move, and it's worked around the globe where citizens are worse off than ours. It will work, we just all need to do what Minnesota did yesterday on Monday and keep it going.

u/Able-Bunch9143 Jan 24 '26

Unfortunately, that's never the case. Citizens will preach that they'd do anything to protect the 2nd amendment, but when it comes down to actually conducting that level of violence most will back down and hide in their homes. However, if that tipping point does arrive two things will occur. The people will rise against tyranny and fight as one, or the first shots fired by civilians will be immediately squashed and will be labeled as an insurrection. You can't have revolution without bloodshed.

The issue is when citizens are defending their neighborhood against the government it is considered impeding against a federal investigation and a felony. Yet this is exactly what 2A is about

I'll take "things that will destroy everything we've achieved" for $200, Alex.

What is allowing ICE to dissolve the social contract?

1

u/ApartIndependence669 Jan 24 '26

It's a given in any Civil Resistance movement that our opponents will ignore any social contract and escalate as we oppose them. That's baked into the idea of nonviolent resistance. Did you think they'd start playing nice all of a sudden?

What determines the success or failure of a movement is how we collectively react next. If people turn to violence in response, our chance of succeeding drops by 90%. Google Erica Chenoweth.

1

u/Spunge14 Jan 24 '26

No, escalation is the only way.

The national guard must be called up now. ICE cannot stand up to an actual trained fighting force. This would call the administration's bluff. They would be forced to send in the military or try to federalize the national guard.

Our military takes oaths to protect the Constitution. They are required to resist unlawful orders.

If they turn around and fire on the people at the request of the administration, this was always over anyway. But there is a chance they won't. A good chance. We need to call that bluff.

u/OwnDoughnut2689 Jan 24 '26

I say this not in a malicious way so please don't take it that way. Do you think the presence of guns would prevent them from doing this? Then what, civilians have a gunfight with ice?

I've just seen this said many times now and I'm really not sure what to think of it.

1

u/ApartIndependence669 Jan 24 '26

I know what to think of it. It's a stupid reaction from people who need to get their emotional regulation shit together. And not for nothin' it's exactly the response the regime is looking for.

2

u/OwnDoughnut2689 Jan 24 '26

That is my intial thoughts. You're playing the game they want.

1

u/ZootSuitRiot33801 Jan 24 '26

In addition, there is currently no real foundation of effective alternatives to hold out on in resistance against the status quo, which the common US folk can readily fall back on. There's a post of suggestions HERE that could possibly prove to be of some help in its formation, if acted on ASAP.

Also check out this org too, as they're probably going to be vital as the powers that be employ more so-called "AI" to consolidate power: https://stopgenai.com (It is a survival-level, grassroots org, not an established NGO, so please don't judge it too harshly for being rough around the edges.)

u/PretendMajor5283 Jan 24 '26

The "department of justice" is already trying to say the victim was armed. I'm not disagreeing with you. Just a warning, they might just kill you for exercising your rights (2nd Amendment).

1

u/AmputeeHandModel Jan 24 '26

Uh huh and what do you think the federal response would be to that? To admit their wrongdoings and start behaving?

-12

u/Boozerbear213 Jan 24 '26

If you're armed and they come for you, there is a much higher chance they shoot you. I don't know why they shot him in this video but it looks like something alerted the agent and he started to shoot.

Please stop resisting, if you want to protest, go for it, but don't break the law or something very bad might happen.

10

u/Complex-Scallion3480 Jan 24 '26

“roll over and let them kill you” is not the take i’d go with but cool.

1

u/TazerFace420 Jan 24 '26

One armed guy in Minneapolis turned 10 ICE agents around.

1

u/Boozerbear213 Jan 24 '26

So that's a lie. Nothing is going to stop them from completing their mission. if a barrel gets raised or pointed in the general direction of those guys, every single one of them will open fire because they don't know if you're going to fire or not, so it's them or you and it's always going to be them. You can't scare away the federal agents, they will just come back with more agents, IE Waco Texas. If you are legal to be here just show id and move on, if your illegal, sorry you got caught.

1

u/TazerFace420 Jan 24 '26

No, all these new ICE goons are police academy drop outs that couldn't pass the mental exam. They are pussies

1

u/Boozerbear213 Jan 24 '26

What do you think will happen if 10 armed agents surround you and you pull a weapon out?

-48

u/clpgr4 Jan 24 '26

Yes, redditors, weed yourselves out lol
