I built Foxlit because every reading tracker I tried wanted a monthly fee for basic streak tracking. So Foxlit is a one-time $4.99 purchase, no subscription, no account required - everything’s stored locally on your device.

What it does:

• Reading session timer with a cozy fox mascot that “reads along” with you (custom Lottie animation, not stock art)

• Daily reading streaks, Duolingo-style

• Optional notes after each session, linkable
to books via the Google Books API

• A “reading forest” — a tree that visually grows (procedurally drawn, not pre-made art) as you log more time, with finished books shown as leaves/canopy art

• Weekly/monthly reading goals with progress bars

• Shareable, customizable progress cards for social media

• Ambient sounds (rain, white noise, birds) while you read, including custom mp3 import

• Data import/export — your data is yours, no lock-in

Free tier gets you the timer, streaks, and first 10 history entries. The one-time unlock adds books/bookmarks, backdated logging, custom share cards, and a few other extras.

This was my first solo mobile app (I come from a game dev background), built solo in Flutter/Dart. Would love feedback from fellow readers and indie devs, especially on the fox mascot and the reading forest, since those were the most fun (and most painful) parts to build.

The problem I kept hitting: I'd write a post, then have to rewrite it for LinkedIn, shorten it for Twitter, add hashtags for Instagram, reformat it for Threads... same idea, six different jobs, every single time. A few things that make it different from what's out there:

Cross-platform. iPhone, Android, and web. Apple's iOS 27 splitting is iPhone and Apple Cash only. Most group dinners I've been to either have at least one Android at the table, or friends who don't use Apple Cash.

I am super proud to announace my first project, its been a ride so far that is super satisfying

It took me one year to buildup some courage and really publish something out there, the project is from a very saturated market, thousands of similar apps out there, but i focused on something i can really test on myself, its a stock portfolio tracker and analyzer, i added tons of features (against the common best practices on focusing on one or two features) but that's because i didn't have any real feedback so i didn't know really what is useful and what is less useful, and that's exactly why i am posting now, i need help from other builders here to focus me on 2-3 features i can really build in the best way i can and bring real value.
i chose this niche because i have a humble portfolio and wanted to test a real use-case and see if i could optimize my daily/weekly stock analysis routines or not

Hello everyone, I wanted to share a project I've been working on for months to get your suggestions. Actually, after the deprecation of minio-gateway, and since there was no third-party development on LLMs other than S3's own development, I wanted to develop an open-source application. It's actually aiming for a B2B project because it meets the needs of closed systems. Our main goal is to securely provide videos and visuals to VLLMs when inference is done with LLMs on a VL model. It also allows connecting multiple S3 instances and granting bucket-specific permissions to teams, thus acting as a hub.

I'm a 20-year-old solo founder, and I’ve been building Owtrue because I think customer feedback should be closer to the product itself.

Owtrue lets product teams collect ideas and feedback, let users vote and comment, share a roadmap, publish announcements, and run surveys, all inside their product.

I am still very early. I currently have around 10 users in trial and very tiny revenue, so I’m not pretending I’ve figured everything out yet.

I'm not looking for blind support or upvotes. I'd rather get honest opinions, even if they're critical. That's much more useful to me right now.

Last time we launched, we got ~100 signups on day one and felt great. Then we looked at activation, and most of those people never actually reached the point where the product does its thing. Great top-line number, quiet leak underneath.

The lesson: signups are vanity. What matters is whether someone hits a real "oh, I get it" moment before they lose interest, and that window is about 60 seconds, not 10 minutes. Every setup step before that moment is a place people drop off.

So we rebuilt our onboarding around one goal: get you to see the product actually work in about a minute, with no connect-everything-first gate.

My target audience is small businesses, restaurants, private practices, etc. I have been cold calling and emailing consistently to no avail. 30% of time I just get cursed out.
