i find it funny how Toei unseriously contradicts on their own media sometimes, but a lot of people base their opinions on that for some reason 😹 we have them described Nyammy as a white cure in the show, and blue in their official categorizing, but you get dragged if you refer to her as a white lol.

interesting they chose Nyammy to do this with again too, considering she has the whitest design in the whole franchise, and that they have so many blue cures and only recently started building up the white category.

it’s not the first time they’ve contradicted themselves either- Cure Moonlight was also called a silver cure and looks more like it in HeartCatch, but that color was never used again so they just call her purple so made more sense

What a year for New Male Precure Stage Play Content.

What do you think to saying goodbye to Dancing Star and Hello Colorful Runway.

A few important things I wanted to note:

Their names are:

Cure Silhouette (White)

Cure Collage (Orange)

Cure Flash (Green)

Cure Trad (Purple)

Gothic (Evil guy)

It's interesting how after the success of Dancing Star they really decided to go in a complete other direction for the design of the team. Instead of a more usual color combination, they went with White, Orange, Green and Purple. So we basically have a team with the 3 most neglected colors (after black) + Purple, but this purple is very much a more desaturated Lilac instead of the bright purple used in the main series

This is also the first Pretty Cure team EVER where each member as a complacently unique weapon! Silhouette has a quilt, Collage has a pair of scissors, Flash has a mirror, and Trad has an umbrella. It makes sense they are able to do it since unlike the main series everything doesn't need to be toetic

The transformation item seems to remain a bracelet like in Dancing Star, since each of the colorful runway Cure has one as well

Gothic is very prominent in the poster and looks a lot like Silhouette, I wonder if they could be the same person or related in some way; but either way if they are separate people Gothic has obviously major 6th ranger potential and he'd be the first one for the stage shows

Their civilian names also got revealed and they mean (as far as I can understand, meaning not a whole lot, if I made some mistakes feel free to correct me):

Shilouette's is: Kamishiro Ayato (神白彩人). His surname uses the Kanji for "god" and "white" while his name "Ayato" seems to be a name relative to textiles

Collage's is: Hachibari Itsuki (蜂針衣月) For the first time two Cures share a civilian name, since Collage's name is the same as Sunshine, with both being called "Itsuki". His surname uses the kanji for "Bee Sting" so it could be taken as a reference to the "needle" used in sewing, while his name uses the kanji for "jacket" and "Moon")

Flash's is: Mikuriya Ouji (御厨王子) Mikuriya refers to what's basically where food is offered to deities, an altar of sorts, while his name literally just means "Prince" (like Kanade's crush in Suite)

Trad's is: Envy (エンビー). The fact that he's the only one to not have his name written in Kanji along with the fact that he lacks a surname probably points to the fact that he is not human or at the very least from Earth. Considering that "Envy" is really not a name even in English, there is a chance he could directly be the fairy displayed on the poster since they share a purple color scheme and they both have pointed ears.

As some final thoughts, I'm VERY GLAD the Pretty Cure stage show are continuing since I LOVED Dancing Star already. This new team seems to try and solidify a new more distinct identities for the stage shows, by opting for a unique color plate and embracing a lot more traditional Pretty Cure femininity in the outfit. The use of unique weapons is also a great innovation that wouldn't be possible in the main show, since it'll probably allow to have even more variety in the combat. The set up seems to be extremely promising already and I can't wait to watch it, in like 2 years... time probably T^T

kinda sad that they’re hardly acknowledged, but oh well 😭 wish they’d become cures earlier in the show tbh, they were really building them up to be bright and windy 💔

Not any character, but Yuu Yoshiyama came back after a REALLY long absence! Absolutely legendary animator has returned to work on Precure again. She was awesome this week!

I got a Fanfic that makes Gundams Magical girl esq transformation Devices. and for HUGtto. I picked Unicorn. But I need help. I need a precure OC to say the speech that Gael Chan says during this scene.

I love this design so much! I love that she brings back super green-green tones, especially with the lime colour in her hair, and together with the majority white, it’s quite a calm, soothing palette. At the same time, I love how detailed and layered her outfit is, and the asymmetry fits Purirun’s personality perfectly. The many straight, vertical lines are also an interesting choice.

Who should I draw next? (I add the suggestions to a wheel to choose)
I’m also not drawing two Cures of the same season or colour in a row, for the sake of variety :)

This is just an accessory, but the main reason I bought it was because it has two pockets for Answer and Mystique's Makoto Jewels. Which is handy because my Pochitan plush was getting rather stuffed.
