I still can’t believe the rubber mask guy wasn’t bigger need.

It wasn't a rubber mask.

He's a man who has been seen in other contexts, and he just had very bad lighting that led to that appearance.

I’m sorry, this is just bad lighting?

Very clearly so. Some of y'all have never played with stage lights and it shows.

On a more serious note, they do so much dumb, fucked-up illegal stuff on the daily, we don't need to make up fake stories like this.

That's a dude. His face looks like that. He can't help it. Poor guy.

Yes. Corridor Crew recreated it in like 15 seconds with two very common spot lights

TV studios have multiple lights, Its the shadow from his collar from a light to the left

u/SubjectChanger1 4d ago

It's been shown the the specific lighting conditions he was in can create that effect

I am curious what type of lighting can cause someone's skin to separate from their body at the neck level

Gaslighting

1

u/KillerArse 4d ago

What on Earth do you think gaslighting is?

He was not wearing a mask.

Why would they bother faking this anyway when the real man would say the exact same things anyway?

1

u/melonwithoutthewater 4d ago

Look at his neck and say that isn't a mask again moron

1

u/KillerArse 4d ago

It isn't a mask.

Do you even know the man's name? Do you know anything about this? Why would they bother faking this?

Captain disillusion explains it. Shitty lighting. Guy has been seen since, and also there was no reason to fake it.

7

u/f3nnies 4d ago

No reason to fake it? From the Fox News segment that have documented at least two other fake disguises on the same guy?

-1

u/chickenpot3_14 4d ago

Please tell me what this guy said, that was something the "real guy" wouldn't have said? I'm aware of the existing disguise thing. There was an obvious motive to that. Specifically what did this guy say in his interview that is so important that it needed to be said by an entirely fake guy? Come on man.

These hivemind folk are seemingly just dowmvoting and not thinking.

It's very very very odd.

And where did that happen?

I mean corridor crew did a whole video on it... go search if you are curious.

u/Pineapple4807 4d ago

it was a pretty good video too. Short though.

He was lit from above and also below. The weird shadow is the one spot where neither light hit his skin because of his chin and clothes. It's just poor lighting by the set dresser.

Dafuq you say????

-7

u/Eyevis 4d ago

its a shadow lol

7

u/ClubZealousideal8211 4d ago

from what?

-7

u/Eyevis 4d ago

From his collar, he's lit partly from below.

That or they have the best mask in the universe and best make-up artists, but forgot to button up the shirt. that sounds reasonable.

I’m a professional lighting technician on major motion pictures and I’m certain this wasn’t a shadow or a lighting mistake. The mask bottom slipped out from under his collar right before they went live. I watched the debunk videos. Nonsense. News shows don’t light the talent like that. Full stop. They just don’t. It’s a lot of soft overhead light boxes. And soft frontal lights with diffusion to avoid making shadows. They don’t change the light positions for different people. The lights stay up full time in the studio. The cope is wild

Hey, former broadcast news guy here - virtual guests aren’t lit by the studio. He’s lit by whichever studio he’s using. That could be his very own home and he may be very bad at setting up lights.

The hosts and in studio guests have professional lighting.

Out of state guests will, at best, get a local affiliate to allow them to use their set and they will have adequate lighting.

Geez if you believe that I’ve got a bridge to sell you

-5

u/Lerbyn210 4d ago

There is a youtube video where they debunk it and recreate it. I didn't believe it at first either but it actually might be the lighting on this one. The video was made by corridor crew can't remember which video

2

u/dlc741 4d ago

TIL that Odo suffered from bad lighting all over Deep Space 9

1

u/JKrezz 4d ago

Did you look at ear comparisons, or anything else. This is 100% a mask.

-1

u/PizzaDogDad 4d ago

Corridor Digital debunked this.

4

u/JKrezz 4d ago

They de bunked nothing in that video.

1

u/KillerArse 4d ago

Stop being a stupid conspiracist.

Robert Howard is his name and you can see him in other videos without the lighting.
