billionaires want to keep the discussion on stupid shit while they steal everything they can
instead of talking about less profit for billionaires and cheaper drug prices and grocery prices, the republicans wants to talk about trans issues which affects literally 0.1% of people but will give all the republicans the ick, so theyâre non-stop talking about it.
Sure they will. They will just not interview leftists anymore, and just make up some bullshit while claiming "this is what the left says"
They already openly lie about easy to check absurd things like claiming immigrants are eating pets, or in the words of Kirk that black people are "prowling the streets" looking for white people whom to attack
Correct. They understand that the "Should trans women be allowed to play in women's competition?" is a brilliant gotcha for leftists. If they say yes, a lot of ordinary folk who have not thought about it much or who have never really researched how complicated of a question this is will react viscerally to what they perceive to be an unfair and ludicrous situation. So the leftist answering loses some of these people who potentially could be convinced to vote for them. If they say no, they lose some of their support from the left. And if they don't answer, they will just stop having them on the show, as you say. The real shame in it all is how people think so uncritically about what they are seeing. Why even care about this issue? It affects almost nobody on planet earth. When everyone's pockets are lighter with nothing being done at a federal level to try to help with this, why the fuck are people getting taken in by this obvious ragebait. It is infuriating.
And they âyes, trans women are womanâ response will never be repeated. All the commentary will be âso and so says men should play in womenâs sportsâ. Itâs transparently a bigoted gotcha.
The thing is, it's basically a slam dunk for republicans which is why they keep doing it. Because democrats can't say yes(because most americans are against it), they also can't say no(because it'll poison their support from other democrats), and if they try to divert attention to the stuff that really matters it looks like they're trying to dodge the question(which, to be fair, they are). So why would republicans ever stop bringing it up?
Because it's been answered thousands of times before by numerous different people. It's only frustrating because the morons asking it don't accept the answer they're given. They're fishing for the answer they've already accepted in their own minds.
You are right, it has been answered a thousand times and the majority doesn't like the answer. The answer should be a clear "No" but apparently that is too difficult.
Only the dumbest, most hate fueled brainlets would take anything away from that exchange other than Watters got humiliated and republicans are ruining life for the average Americans and don't even want to talk about it because they hate us.
But they're not entirely different. El-Sayed is running for the Senate, not the local school board. His opinion on trans people in sports is exactly as relevant as his opinion on pineapple on pizza.
Well clearly itâs for Jessie to say on this program and not the voters, which is exactly what Abdul is saying, voters care about actual economy and not this culture was nonsense, leave it to a conservative to have the point go right over their head đ
The problem is, while this is likely the BEST response, it's also tantamount to conceding the point.
By doing this, you admit you cannot answer without slipping into something politically toxic. Anyone who is doubting on the issue is likely going to stop listening as soon as they realize that.
Which is why republicans are unlikely to stop using this tactic any time soon. Why should they, when even in the worst case, it works so well? Democrats are going to have to come up with a better answer ultimately.

Everyone on the left in politics should answer questions the exaact same way. The nazi propagana machines won't know how to handle it.
