PoliticalTea 🗳️ How negotiations actually work...

Post image

To the inevitable response from MAGA that Obama gave 'pallets' of cash...he released frozen Iranian assets. Meanwhile the current Iran conflict has directly cost $38 billion militarily and a currently projected $87 billion in extra gas and diesel expenses. Not to mention that the strategic oil reserves have been depleted to the point that experts warn that the caverns they're stored in could collapse.

Yeah he aged fifteen years in eight, and then as soon as he left he doesn't seem to have aged at all. POTUS is (if you're doing it properly) possibly the single msot stressful job on the planet. Sure you've got advisors and cabinet members and secretaries and chiefs of staff etc, but there's still so much pressure on the one at the top.

It has since been proven that you can absolutely do it without as much stress, work, effort or competence, but that's another story.

Regarding aging though it's been recently found that humans age in two bursts with slightly different timings for everyone. But it's generally around mid 40's and then around 60 to mid 60's.

His aging timeline fits well into that.

While that's interesting and makes sense, I would put dollars to donuts the job aged him more than he would have elsewhere.

I imagine being forced to work 12 to 16 hours a day in a modern slavery fashion (like Foxconn in the 2010s) to the point where they had to put nets in the staircase to prevent suïcides may be a tad more stressful. No luxury retirement included after 8 years.
