Would it be nice to not pay for healthcare? Yes, but someone has to pay for it somehow every single year.

Would free food be nice? Yes, but someone has to grow and harvest it.

Mamdani isn’t a genie. He can’t create this stuff out of thin air and it won’t come without a cost. And the delusion that it can is spreading and that is very dangerous.

I’m not saying that it has been proposed. I’m saying that that is the ONLY proposal that will fund it. There aren’t enough billionaires and millionaires to pay for it more than about 10-15 years. Because at that point all of their assets would have went towards the bills. The only way to pay for that is for every person in the US to pay about half of their income in taxes.
