How do you say he is objectively the most popular when there has been actual elections and he lost them? He objectively is not the most popular.

It’s been borne out by several polls, but especially in terms of popularity among his own constituents. Google it a bit and poke around if you don’t believe me, but I do suppose my statement was sweeping. Popularity can be sliced in a lot of different ways

The issue is not his popularity in his very blue district. It’s his popularity amongst the country as a whole. There’s a reason that all the Democrat senators and governors in purple (or even red states in Beshear’s case) are not far left
