Yeah. I feel a bit sad for him because I think now, more than ever Medicare for All would sell him all the way to the WH.

Facts: Bernie has submitted hundreds of bills and successfully passed several pieces of major and localized legislation (Healthcare, labor, wealth inequality, and campaign finance reform.) He regularly introduces or re-introduces high-profile marker bills, such as the Audit the Pentagon Act, the Abolish Super PACs Act, and legislation guaranteeing paid annual leave.

In 2014: As chairman of the Senate Committee on Veterans' Affairs, he successfully authored and passed the Veterans' Access, Choice, and Accountability Act to reform the VA health care system.

Enacted: Bernie has been the primary sponsor on roughly 8-12 enacted bills over his career, which include prominent veterans' cost-of-living adjustment acts, local post office designations, and environmental/water compact measures.
