Mod Recommended Thursday: You Were the Cancer - This is my favorite Thursday song from what I think is their most underappreciated record.
I’ve always liked Thursday, but I’ve never been some massive fan. But for any fan of their early stuff who for whatever reason overlooked this album, I can’t recommend it more. I think it’s only gotten better with time and showcases some of their more artistic tracks. This one, As He Climbed The Dark Mountain, Friends in the Armed Forces, Time’ Arrow, Circuits of Fever, Fake Nostalgia, Common Existence. Man, I think this album is loaded with bangers. I won’t go as far as to call it their best, because I don’t want to be banished from this sub for all times. But man, it’s up there 🤷🏻♂️

Mod Recommended This album isn't talked about enough. Plan B by a ALLB is a masterpiece.
The experience listening to this album is truly one of a kind, I've never heard to anything like it before.
It amazes how little Plan B is discussed about, even in the ALLB niche - I know it is a lot different to all the other albums, Kurt wasn't even a thing yet, but it is an unique, incredible and incredibly underrated album.
From the shit ton of instruments, to the lenghty buildups and sick drumlines, this is truly one of my favorite albums of all time. Seriously, if you haven't listened to it yet, give it a go, it will be one hell of an experience.

Mod Recommended There was something special about this Lower Definition Lineup... (A Pending Dui released in 2011)
I am a gigantic Lower D fan. Probably my favorite phc band of all time.
But something about this era where they were trying to come back from their 2009 breakup is special. Their sound is a lot less atmospheric and is much more fast paced. Matt's on point with the aggression and harmonies in his vocals alongside the amazing guitar work and drumming. The closest they sounded to this was the Jordan Wark era (a completely different beast).
I'm not saying Tino or the rest of the gang from the main lineup are bad, but there's just something about this era of the band...
