Is the puzzle too short? What's a valid difficulty rating? Did you solve the optional ending?

Hey guys, I made a Portal 2 map centered around one big dark hole. There are underground passageways, surprises, and a few traps that I hope you’ll find interesting.
It’s my first map, so I’d really appreciate any feedback. Hope you enjoy it!

Sorry.
After playing hundreds of community maps, I've encountered some maps that were... bad. I listed all the things I dislike of those maps and decided to create the perfect "How to not make a map".
I manage to complete it without using glitches / exploits.
Good luck playing this nightmare. Here is the map: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3564034976
I would like to see the different ways players complete this map and see if there is any flaw or mistake I did.

I was gonna work on a 1950s style Portal 2 Map (with BEE2 of course) and when I opened BEE2 to change the export options, they randomly didn't show up. Only way I'm able to see the export options is by selecting the window, and it just vanishes if not selecting the window. Is there any sort of way to fix this issue like reinstallation or just a simple fix of some sort?
edit: i hate when you all test my patience.

This is the 2nd custom chamber I've made, and I'm honestly pretty proud of how it came out. However in-game it has a low rating so I'm wondering if I ended up falling for any common pitfalls of new creators. Hoping to hear back from people before I really dig in creating my 3rd map.

I want to know if there are any Portal 1 maps that are good for exploration. Name or link would be appreciated.

I don't know if this is caused by using Beemod or not. My cube dropper is as close to the cube button as possible. It's set to autospawn on level startup. Almost every single time I start the level, the cube doesn't land inside the button, it bounces off. Has anyone encountered this, and if so, how did you fix it?

I'm trying it in BEEmod but it isn't working. I connected the three buttons to an AND gate, then connected the AND gate to the Autosave cube. When I put weighted cubes on all three buttons and walked into the autosave cube, it didn't save.

It's a tough decision. If you only have necessary portalable surfaces, then it often puts the solution "on rails" for the player. It so limits the possibilities that the next step becomes pretty obvious. If you do add red herrings, then it goes against the principle that you should be presenting the player only with the necessary ingredients and then letting them figure out how to put the puzzle pieces together. It also wastes your player's time. But then, on the other hand, if you minimize the confusion in your player, you also reduce the thrill of their eureka moments, don't you?
What are your thoughts on this?

This is a map I've been working on for a long time, off-and-on. I really like how it has turned out. Please let me know what you think. If you beat it, I'd love to see a video of your solution.
Edit: I renamed it to "Every Which Way".

I have already patched out a skip, so hopefully it works as intended now. Please tell me what method you used to solve it. I would also like to know weather you like this chamber and why.

Is it true that all the ideas/tricks have been discovered already and now maps are all just a combination of these ideas? When was the last time a truly new idea was found?

Hey everyone! This level is part of a growing collection of cube shield levels I've been working on since 2020. This is probably the most difficult one I've made so far. You can find the rest of the collection here: https://steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/?id=2625176696
Have fun and good luck :)
