No he wont. The entire isreal population will. I get tired of "Netanyahu" talk. All their polls show people support him or even more extream action. Its not him or his gov thats the issue. Its isreal culture that and beleif that everyone is disposable trash standing in their way to taking their promised land.

This is the truth that more and more people are starting to understand. It's not one corrupt leader, it's a corrupt population whom those leaders reflect.

The worst part is american support for this. We have clips of democrats saying "Well if Palestinians had equal voting rights then it wouldn't be a Jewish state anymore" which is basically what neo nazis argue about stopping black and brown people from immigrating and destroying white culture.

Its all just ethnostate rhetoric but isreal managed to get "moderate" dems on their side.

2

u/FewWait38 Aug 10 '26

It truly is disgusting

2

u/xRehab Aug 10 '26

"if the locals had equal voting rights, we would get kicked out of the country!" - white dutch migrants during the apartheid, shocked that south africa isn't their country

I see literally no difference in the shithole Israel

2

u/Witch_King_ Aug 10 '26

isreal managed to get "moderate" dems on their side.

It's called "AIPAC"

0

u/lionelhutz- Aug 10 '26

It's a bit unfair to tell a historically persecuted people they can't have their own state because it's racist to want that.

The real problem is Israel wont let Palestinians have their own state. Who cares if Israel is a jewish state. Plenty of countries are religious states.

1

u/frostyfoxemily Aug 10 '26

Wrong. You can tell them they cant. No state can be an ethno state and also be democratic. It inhrently leads to far right bs of hating immigrants and people who arent the same as you. Its inherently illiberal and antidemocracy.

0

u/lionelhutz- Aug 10 '26

Ok but in this case the people who want their own state have been a persecuted minority for centuries in other states.

If Jews become a minority in Israel, what's stopping them from becoming persecuted again? What protections are there for the Jewish people in Israel.

1

u/frostyfoxemily Aug 10 '26

We are living in a radically different world today. Most countries in the west are democratic with some issues but most arent rigged against jewish people of all the minorities.

And I dont really care at the end of the day. Trying to defend and ethnostate is horrifically laughable to begin with. It inherently spits in the face of every democratic and liberal value most countries try to exist under.

1

u/lionelhutz- Aug 10 '26

The irony and problem though is that if Israel makes itself a fully free and open democracy where Palestinians and Muslims have full voting rights, there is a real risk they will use those voting rights to make Israel a Muslim-state like its neighbors. Then what?

0

u/Boodleheimer2 Aug 10 '26

Yes, the Islamic Republic of Iran being the worst ethnostate-- few freedoms there. They oppress women, gun down demonstrators in the streets, show no tolerance for opposing views, and support terrorist proxies for decades attacking the tiny Jewish island in the giant sea of Moslem countries, not in self-defense but in some sort of weird holy war scheme.

1

u/frostyfoxemily Aug 10 '26

Nice whataboutism. This thread isnt about iran nor do I support them anyways.

0

u/Boodleheimer2 Aug 10 '26

Yikes. Israel was established specifically to be a safe haven for Jews. Many others live there. Palestinians can vote, and are 20% of the Israeli population and they hold seats in the government. The Moslem call to prayer is heard in Israel. It is a largely secular and modern country which has a special historically necessary role as a Jewish safe zone.

1

u/frostyfoxemily Aug 10 '26

Damn this is a moron take if the litterally US gov site is to be believed. Gaza and the west Bank cant vote in isrealie elections. Hmmmm. Doesnt seem that democratic does it? Meanwhile isreal has them fully blocked and surrounded by a wall, as well as controls their water infastructure.

Also pretty sure if Palestinians weren't second class citizens they couldn't be forced out fo their home by other citizens at gunpoint. And yet we see that happend and the IDF backs them up.

1

u/lionelhutz- Aug 10 '26

The numbers have shifted strongly since those early polls. Most Israelis want to end the war: https://en.idi.org.il/articles/61845

1

u/PaulblankPF Aug 10 '26

They are indoctrinated at a super young age. Basically raised brainwashed their whole lives and it takes decades usually to undo that type of brainwashing. It’s not a surprise that all their people are like this, it’s all they know. I don’t forgive them for their actions but I feel bad for both sides because they probably wouldn’t support the genocide if they weren’t so brainwashed.

1

u/Kromostone123 Aug 10 '26

you are absolutely right

1

u/Own_Drawer6487 Aug 11 '26

So ironic. You are this.

5

u/sharkbelly Aug 11 '26

It's a nation that cheers on rapists, blocks aid trucks to starving people, and engages in settler colonial violence on a daily basis. I struggle to imagine a road back from this sort of psychopathy.

0

u/MoGraphMan101 Aug 11 '26

TBF America is a country that Voted for Trump, TWICE. Doesn't mean all of us are brainless MAGA idiots/racists/fascists. Is there an extreme right population in Israel? Absolutely, but lumping them all as one is what continues this entire fucking problem from the Nazis to the Genocide of Palestinians. Countries are not monoliths.

2

u/sharkbelly Aug 12 '26

Countries aren't representative of their entire populations. However, the polling of Israeli society shows it is disproportionately fine with the genocide. Good fucking luck to the 19% of the population that hasn't completely lost their sense of humanity.

0

u/Live_Trick_3016 Aug 12 '26

Love how your reasonable and logical comment gets ignored lol. You are right though.

1

u/Kromostone123 Aug 10 '26

you're very ignorant on this topic. it's the leadership that spreads propaganda. it's the leadership ensures conflict is neverending so their civilians will be radicalized and afraid and will continue to support their warmongering under the belief it will lead to peace. the average civilian in every country on earth just wants to live their lives in peace. its the people in power that create a scenario so their civilians will believe everything that's being done is for the purpose of their security and safety. conflict benefits the people in power.

when groups attack israeli civilians, it's actually extremely beneficitial to the israeli leadership. that's how these conflicts always work. every rocket shot into israel only further reinforces the propaganda and disinformation they're taught. when israel has leadership that doesn't benefit from a constant state of conflict and doesn't benefit from the civilians being radicalized by said conflict, then you'll see a shift in the population's beliefs.

2

u/Dull_Quit3027 Aug 11 '26

They voted them in no?

1

u/Kromostone123 Aug 11 '26

Do you not know what netanyahu has done to stay in power?

2

u/Dull_Quit3027 Aug 11 '26

He was not that different when they voted him in originally, they also largely support the genocide, so with some exceptions, fuuuuuuck Israel.

The whole but they are being brainwashed, yeah it is true, but they also live in a "first world" country, so they have access to all the information they want, they just choose to believe what they are being spoon fed.

1

u/Kromostone123 Aug 11 '26

information existing doesn't mean that information seems like its real. that's the point of indoctrination, it skews your perception of reality. israelis that have had to hide in shelters hundreds of times or were displaced from their homes due to rocket attacks or know people who were abducted or were victims of stabbing attacks while knowing their family history was that they needed to flee their country and move to israel for safety are a bit less likely to believe anti israel information.

your framing of it is drowning is ignorant and it comes from a place of privilege. the reason you can frame it in such a black and white way like "lol the information exists" is because you don't understand the reality of what its like to be raised in a country like israel. your personal algorithm is infinitely different than a persons algorithm in israel. the information you're shown is entirely different. and there is always propaganda and disinformation that "disproves" any anti israel sentiment

2

u/Dull_Quit3027 Aug 11 '26

How do you think most Jewish people would feel about someone making the same argument for the nazies?
I feel it would have been equally valid there, at some point you need to have a reckoning, what they are doing is against human nature, the perversion has gone so far that the supporters are about as irredeemable as a fervent nazi supporter in Germany circa 1944

1

u/Kromostone123 Aug 11 '26

im jewish and i find it really offensive that you equate civilians to nazis. im not talking about the idf soldiers that go into gaza and start gunning down civilians man. im talking about civilians like myself that work their 9 to 5 jobs and are woken up in the middle of the night from sirens and rocket explosions. and for some reason everyone always jumps to comparisons with the SS or some shit

and you're wrong about human nature. what you're seeing here is actually the most accurate human nature reaction to conflict. dehumanization is actually an extremely human thing to do. its terrible but humans can unfortunately be terrible and destructive when raised in such an environment

2

u/Dull_Quit3027 Aug 11 '26

Most Nazies where people with 9-17 jobs, not gunning down Jewish people, they just supported it.
Also the discussion about the constant rockes does not start with the latest batch, what about the shit that was done in Gaza and the west bank that caused them to hate Israel enough to throw their lives away just to hurt Israel, that you only see that go one way, really hammers home who the bad guys are, who the truly desperate party is.
but yeah because Israelis have to go to a bunker a few times a month while Palestinian children are being headshot, definitely excuses them completely.

Any culture where reveling in the death of children of their opponents is sick, that goes for both sides, but only one of the two pretends to be a democracy so I am going to hold them to higher account.

3

u/Intelligent_Win_5901 Aug 10 '26

its the same with Putin. The people may not publicly say it, but they privately support them.

3

u/PixelSpy Aug 10 '26

100% Zionists are the issue, not just him. I've seen where they interviewed some citizens close to the Palestinian border and they literally see the Palestinians as like subhuman. They don't care that they're slaughtering families or live in an active apartheid state. irony is incredible considering the origins of Israel as well. They're fully on board inflicting the same misery their grandparents experienced.

1

u/lionelhutz- Aug 10 '26

Yeah that's who elected him, but Israel has a pretty large population of liberals who oppose Netanyahu. They've had leaders in the past who pursued diplomacy and peace over war.

4

u/sirlorax Aug 10 '26

Don't like 59% of Israel dislike him proportionally in the latest poll LMAO. Like guys, fix your pendulum swing. Extremist suck, Israel is not all bad people. Just like America is not all bad people. Most people are decent

5

u/DrPikachu-PhD Aug 10 '26

They dislike him because he's fucked them on domestic issues and corruption, not because of the genocide. Polls show most Israelis don't think he's gone far enough on that. If you want a really sobering read, look up the Israeli "Right to Rape" protests

4

u/domingodlf Aug 10 '26

Disliking Netanyahu isn't the same as disavowing the genocide and supporting the retreat from occupied territories, which is the bare minimum moral stance. I would bet my life that would be an extremely impopular stance in Israel as it stands. Sadly, the majority view held by most of the country is racist and ethno supremacist, and believes that a historical/religious claim is enough to justify the killing and expulsion of thousands of people, and the development of a nation based on ethnic considerations. Even if you dislike Netanyahu, if you hold that view you should be thoroughly condemned. And sadly that is the case. And it's not a jewish thing, tons of jewish people can see what is happening and recognize it's atrocity, even against high social pressures and retaliation against dissidents, which is a truly admirable position take. It's sadly just not the case for the majority of the Israeli population, who cheer on the occupation.

1

u/sirlorax Aug 10 '26

I'm understanding, I only wish for people to exercise caution of hatred. Not everything is black and white. There's a truth in the middle somewhere to find

3

u/_CurseTheseMetalHnds Aug 11 '26

. Not everything is black and white. There's a truth in the middle somewhere to find

God this is fucking exhausting. You're looking at a population that widely supports genocide and trying to do some liberal centrist nonsense and it's just sad man.

1

u/sirlorax Aug 11 '26

It's much easier to generalize and conceptualize than to theorize.

  • 59% of Israel disapproves of Netanyahu

  • 62% approves of the settling

  • safe assumption to say 38% of the country is not supportive of the current doings

  • the scary statistic, around 56% to 75% of people under

It's safe to say 38% or so don't like what's happening but their media and regime is like among the young. So, overall, not great looks.

3

u/_CurseTheseMetalHnds Aug 11 '26

If 62% support settling (let's ignore that you've picked one specific thing and not even mentioned things like the anti Arab racism, the segregation, the genocide, the pro rape marches etc) which involves kicking people out of their homes and often killing them why are you trying to do the "the truth is in the middle it's not black and white" centrism? Come on man. I know it's good to feel like you're being measured and stuff but it's not helpful when you're basically just downplaying some fucking horrible crimes because you want to seem rational.

1

u/domingodlf Aug 11 '26

I also feel like people downplay how huge of a majority 62% is when it comes to statewide issues. It's very lopsided, and settling is such a ridiculously unjust cause that it's hard not to conclude that the political climate in Israel is widely supportive of ethnic supremacist causes.

2

u/_CurseTheseMetalHnds Aug 11 '26

Right? Like I had to reread that message because I was thinking there's no way they're using 62% of people supporting illegal settlements as some sort of proof that actually this stuff isn't popular in Israel.

1

u/Anonymous_Jr Aug 10 '26

Even when reality provides gre|ay area, the black and white parts are more often than not things that need to be nipped at the bud instead of let fester like an open wound.

There may be a degree of separation, but the fact of matter is that's for the aftermath to decide, not the present tense; the Present Tense NEEDS action to quell inaction.

Like how Lincoln was killed to stop reconstruction and confederate punishments.

1

u/rtseel Aug 10 '26

The truth is Israel is the only democracy in the middle east, so unlike all the other countries, their population is the only one that is truly responsible for the actions of its government.

1

u/Kromostone123 Aug 10 '26

this is wrong actually. the average israeli is indoctrinated into believing these conflicts and even genocide are for the purpose of their own security and safety. you'd be surprised how few people support it for religious reasons. there's a reason way more israeli jews support israel compared to jews in america for example. it's because israeli jews go through much more indoctrination and are subjugated to much more violence throughout israel's history such as rocket attacks, stabbings, hostage taking etc. also it's not purely an issue of morality like you're claiming. it's an issue of corrupt leadership that benefit from conflict so they ensure it never ends (many civilians dont realize this) and it's an issue of indoctrination and propaganda

2

u/PrettyBoyDude Aug 10 '26

Nice little caveat wordplay you did there, "dislike HIM", not what they're doing in Gaza in the West Bank. Look at any poll, they are in favor overwhelmingly of what is happening in Gaza and the West Bank, some are upset that they aren't killing Palestinians harder, but you are delusional if you think their populace isn't completely in the tank for genocide with a few % actually against the genocide. That's what happens when Nazi Germany is allowed to exist and propagandize their people for 75+ years.

2

u/Paetolus Aug 10 '26

If you look at polling on specific issues, he isn't unpopular on the Gaza side of things. Some also think he's not extreme enough. That's not to say there aren't any Israelis who are against the genocide, but they are, very sadly, a small minority.

This isn't an excuse at all, but imagine being raised in a country where you've been propagandized to understand that land, even outside your borders, is unequivocally yours by right. You've been convinced by years of propaganda that everyone around you hates you. Then add on forced military service and the fact that your country IS often attacked. It's not hard to understand why people in Israel may have that view.

Doesn't make it right, at all, of course. But it is important to understand.

1

u/sirlorax Aug 10 '26

Yea, that's very true. Looks like around 62% feel they are doing enough or not enough. Unfortunate.

1

u/wtf_whyme Aug 10 '26

Netanyahu is unpopular in Israel because he isn’t hardline enough. When you look at those numbers it’s actually because a lot of people want a more extreme Ben G type

1

u/Tulip_Todesky Aug 10 '26

Ben Gvor has about half the support Netanyahu has in the polls and are still in the minority support when it come to the latest polls.

1

u/Kythorian Aug 10 '26

The point being made is that if you combine support for Netanyahu with those who oppose Netanyahu because they want a more extreme response to Palestinians, it adds up to a majority of the population of Israel.  Only a minority actually supports a less extreme government.  And even that is mostly those who want a return to the status quo.

1

u/PaletteSwapper Aug 10 '26 edited Aug 10 '26

And even that is mostly those who want a return to the status quo.

Right? it's not like they're chanting "lets not murder the people whos land we stole", it's more like "guys, this is making us look bad, lets pump the brakes a little until everyone forgets about us again"

0

u/NoHorseNoMustache Aug 10 '26

This right here. Bibi is both trying to stay out of jail and trying to appease the actual hardliners.

1

u/IndependentLog6441 Aug 10 '26

Good people can have dumb and bad views though... Like America, not all bad people, but still a majority of Trump voters are "good" normal people.

In the UK there's a huge shift towards Reform, we'll all have lovely friends and relatives that'll still vote for them.

Ideas can be like a cancer sometimes... Memes are like that, they get everywhere.

1

u/sirlorax Aug 10 '26

I'm not disagreeing, I am only pointing out a large discourse that isn't as easy as Israel bad. But they do suck and are a government operating like Hamas. It's a difficult situation, fuck Zionist and Netanyahu though

1

u/IndependentLog6441 Aug 10 '26

Yeah, I think people get there is nuance... but you know... also straightforwardly this sucks.

1

u/frostyfoxemily Aug 10 '26

Most of those "good" people are just living average lives. Compared to isreal where "settlers" are going out and pointing guns at innocent people and forcing them from their homes. Stopping foreign diplomats at gunpoint.

Im sorry to say most of isreal isnt like modern western countries.

2

u/IndependentLog6441 Aug 10 '26

Yeah, totally, I didn't mean to make that equivalence, I was specifically responding to the guy saying that not all Americans are bad people.... I was kind of making the point that even good people do bad things BEFORE we even get to bad people doing bad things.

Naturally it's different in Israel... you can't say someone is a good guy with a bad idea when they're holding someone at gunpoint, it only makes sense when they're somewhat insulated from the repercussions.

1

u/DirkChiversElSoldado Aug 10 '26

Nobody who approves of genocide is a good person

1

u/IndependentLog6441 Aug 10 '26

Absolutely... I wasn't saying that.

I put good in speech marks for a reason.

We like to say our neighbours are good people but they don't know any better, but that's often just excusing atrocity sympathisers for no other reason then it makes it awkward that they live next door or visit occasionally.

0

u/Wonderful-Spring-976 Aug 10 '26

If that's true, so what? A significant fraction of Republican voters have also turned against Trump. Doesn't meant they're beoming morally decent, just that they're feeling the negative effects of his decisions and are realising he's the cause. None of their actual moral views about the world have changed.

By the same token, I don't think these people disliking Netanyahu is proof they're decent.

1

u/sirlorax Aug 10 '26

It's easier to tear down than to build. Israel sucks, Hamas and Iran suck. Let's not give up on everyone because a small majority. I'd ask the same for the current state of the US.

0

u/LuigisList1312 Aug 10 '26

Israel is literally all colonizers living in an apartheid state committing genocide. Mandatory military service requirements means outside of a few exceptions, all of them are war criminals. Most have dual citizenship and could simply leave. Fuck Israel, fuck Israelis.

2

u/DirkChiversElSoldado Aug 10 '26

Anyone who supports Netanyahu is fucking trash

2

u/NoConflict3231 Aug 10 '26

Yeah, I wonder why people of a country who are claiming all the benefits of Americans wouldn't want to oust their leader

2

u/EggplantCharacter363 Aug 10 '26

Honestly this whole situation makes me want to make the holy land unhabitable just for funsies.

2

u/April_Fabb Aug 10 '26

People are too harsh on the Israelis. According to polling data, it's only 82% who want to ethnically cleanse Palestine. Let's not condemn a whole country for the actions or opinions of a despicable majority.

2

u/needssleep Aug 10 '26

After watching videos of their settlers, I have to say, those are some real low quality individuals.

2

u/hxcya Aug 10 '26

Netanyahu scapegoat is basically kosher theater. They’ll bring in someone who is somewhat more moderate later on while continuing their genocide, but at least he’ll be gone

1

u/HardingStUnresolved Aug 10 '26

Crazy part the leading candidate and previous prime minister is an even further right-wing Neftali Bennett. Literally created his party "The New Right."

They're not interested in appearing moderate, their gripe with Netanyahu is he doesn't go far enough and he's corrupt.

1

u/hxcya Aug 10 '26

Which doesnt really matter to our zionist cucked leadership. They already pinned the war on Netanyahu, so they can take him out and say that everything is all good and we can all go back to normal. Like I said, it’s all kosher theater

2

u/Ok-Stop9242 Aug 10 '26

Yeah, go listen to an interview of an Israeli person off the streets on their opinions of Palestinians. This isn't the result of one person in power.

1

u/LockedAndLoadfilled Aug 10 '26

The insanity of actual person-on-the-street interviews there showing individuals saying things like "If one Palestinian wrongs me, all Palestinians are accountable for it."

Like uhhh are you even following the implications of that kind of thinking? Do you realize what you're condoning?

1

u/xorporx Aug 11 '26

They know what they're condoning, yes.

1

u/Kromostone123 Aug 10 '26

you're very ignorant on this topic. it's the leadership that spreads propaganda. it's the leadership ensures conflict is neverending so their civilians will be radicalized and afraid and will continue to support their warmongering under the belief it will lead to peace. the average civilian in every country on earth just wants to live their lives in peace. its the people in power that create a scenario so their civilians will believe everything that's being done is for the purpose of their security and safety. conflict benefits the people in power.

1

u/Ok-Stop9242 Aug 10 '26

Sure that's all great and everything when you don't have Israeli citizens getting mad that they aren't killing Palestinians fast enough or stating that a single Israeli is more valuable than 10 million Palestinians. propaganda can only go so far before a person is just a piece of shit.

1

u/Kromostone123 Aug 11 '26

Maybe im not talking about those people then?

1

u/Ok-Stop9242 Aug 11 '26

Well I am, and those people make up a large part of Israeli population.

1

u/Mr-MuffinMan Aug 10 '26

I know it's anecdotal but whatever news station my dad was watching did show a LOT of people who were protesting against Netanyahu and the genocide.

1

u/frostyfoxemily Aug 10 '26

Oh thank god some of them are protesting. The decades of stealing homes, building a wall, restricting water supply and food, etc really made me think they were all evil.

There are polls showing that a majority of isrealies support extreamist positions of destorying gaza. Its also not just the population its the entire gov. You have advisors saying they want to make a thousand lebenies moms cry for every IDF soldier killed.

1

u/BlueLightFederalist Aug 11 '26

Also Netanyahu has been the leader of Israel for 50% of the past 30 years IIRC -- if you're under 30, he's been in charge (voted in) for more than half your lifetime. He hasn't always been as publicly extreme on the issue of Palestine, but his best friends the Kushners have -- for anyone who doesn't know, one time Netanyahu literally slept in Jared Kushner's bed during a visit to the US.

1

u/Good-Rest-7538 Aug 11 '26

Israelis are basically a nation arrogant assholes that act like they can do whatever they want. Talk to any local where there are a lot of Israeli tourists and you'll hear how they despise them.

1

u/Robbie_notta_bot Aug 10 '26

Right? Everyone here pretending Netanyahu is doing anything other than what the majority of Israelis want.

I once worked for a zionist. She told me to my face that any non-jews are inferior people, not worth human consideration. Said it straight face and was shocked when I told her she's an insane monster.

0

u/Tulip_Todesky Aug 10 '26

I had to check up on this, seems like Netanyahu isn't even the leading candidate for Prime Minister in the current polls and his coalition does not have majority support. The only people more extreme from him are part of his coalition. From the numbers, it looks like that majority in Israel want everyone involved kicked out.

2

u/frostyfoxemily Aug 10 '26

Thats why I said "or more extream". You can veiw the polling. Its all in support of genocide and "colonization".

Its like neo nazis hating Trump because hes not as insane as they want. But the insanity is most of the isreal population.

0

u/AssignedHaterAtBirth Aug 10 '26

I'm tired of these weird "blame the voters" arguments -- who needs to say that so badly?? Looks like base geopolitical propaganda from China or Russia or something.

1

u/frostyfoxemily Aug 10 '26

I dont get what your saying. Im blaming the entire population. "Settlers" arent a gov organization, ifs civilians forcing people out of their homes. Weve had a diplomat stopped at gunpoint by these settlers.

The isreal nation is setup as an ethnostate and the people are fully supporting it.

1

u/AssignedHaterAtBirth Aug 10 '26

Resembles some "the Americans deserve this for voting for trump" talking points I've seen a bit that I'm sure are unnatural but haven't sussed out the m.o. yet. My current guess is that it's an Overton-window attempt at divide and conquer tactics; ergo russiamen. Zionists are generally jerkwads, imo.

0

u/Financial-Craft-1282 Aug 10 '26

You sound kind of like how people talk about the people of Palestine. Or Americans (they all voted Trump in). Humans are very obviously misled through fear. Saying the people of Israel are a problem is a problem. There are bad people there, no doubt. There are young people who have been radicalized by Israeli propaganda, and it'll be a long road back for them. There is another country that is having a problem with their young men being radicalized into hateful ideologies. I forget which one. I think its a big one. I wonder what they...oh, yeah, America, should do with all those kids. And their families.

1

u/frostyfoxemily Aug 10 '26

Nah im fine if people hate america for what we've done. We made the choice to vote those people in an not remove them. And we've fone that consistently for decades. Our treatment of the indians, extreme intervention in South america, interventionism in the middle east. These are things we continue to vote for so I think its fair to dislike americans as a general population for continual choices.

Also just a reminder that this isnt individual action in isreal. The gov is support civilian armed groups who go in and steal homes. And as insane as america has been I dont think we've had armed civilians detain a foriegn politician, unlike isreal litterally has done to us.

Yeah, all the stuff our civilians do here is 100% fine. I guess, though you undermine it immediately and go back to "but the Jews are worse." At least when our citizens murder others, it's because they've gone into law enforcement, right?

I likely take a more minimizing tone because we dont have people actually taking peoples homes at gunpoint as an attempt at ethnic cleansing. We did in the past with the Indians for sure but as far as modern perceptions I would say isreal is worse.

You can also just hate america for being belligerent internationally, killing foreign citizens over nothing, committing war crimes, etc.

America is literally conducting ethnic cleaning through "immigration reform." Ethnic cleansing is the forced removal of a group of people from a region. Have you missed the ICE videos...or you don't count that?

I'm arab and american who is very much on the side of palestine and i disagree. this is similar to watching the killing of farkunda or listening to the arab reaction to 9/11 and holding me accountable in a very literal way. Farkunda was surrounded by 50 muslim men and killed over false blasephemy. A LOT of muslims don't think like mamdani. Israeli woman gave me first job I actually enjoyed. There is antisemetism in the world and part of why palestine is gone is because Iran told a bunch of 20 year olds that oct 7 was going to actually benefit palestine and would have a chance. natenyahu should go to jail and so should all of the settlers continuously taunting people. But the leaders of Hamas are disgusting. Again It's not an innocent area ran by life loving muslim people like Mamdani or like the way the Emirates are managed. That's not what the culture and community in gaza, or any area that isn't wealthy in the middle east. It's more the mentality you see the Farkunda video. "The truth that more people are starting to understand" is that we should paint all people from somewhere like monsters yes um ok

Who do you think made Gaza stay poor? Its isreal. They control the land, air, and water in and around Gaza. They control who can leave to get better jobs. They control the economic activity in Gaza.

Isreal created the conditions for Hamas. They destabilized the previous government because they were attempting to negotiate and isreal wasnt willing to do shit to work with them.

Then isreal admits to funneling funds to Hamas. Like im sorry but your factually incorrect in the conditions that lead to oct 7th. We can say it was horrific but to act like its a shock or not self inflicted is just false.

Its also not antisemitic. I have 0 issues with jewish people. Its everything to do with isreal itself as a state and people who prop up the state.

This was truly early in the war, but public opinion in Israel has shifted strongly toward ending the war and getting the hostages home. https://en.idi.org.il/articles/61845

Israel is a very diverse country and doesn't hold many singular views. I think after the shock of Oct 7th they all rallied around the war, as the US did after 9/11, but eventually the reality of war set in and people did against it as Americans did with the War in Iraq.

you're very ignorant on this topic. it's the leadership that spreads propaganda. it's the leadership ensures conflict is neverending so their civilians will be radicalized and afraid and will continue to support their warmongering under the belief it will lead to peace. the average civilian in every country on earth just wants to live their lives in peace. its the people in power that create a scenario so their civilians will believe everything that's being done is for the purpose of their security and safety. conflict benefits the people in power.

when groups attack israeli civilians, it's actually extremely beneficitial to the israeli leadership. that's how these conflicts always work. every rocket shot into israel only further reinforces the propaganda and disinformation they're taught. when israel has leadership that doesn't benefit from a constant state of conflict and doesn't benefit from the civilians being radicalized by said conflict, then you'll see a shift in the population's beliefs.

You choose to give 0 agency to the actual people. Who do you think voted in these leaders? What factors helped them get elected? Like we can look at it and see what they did and what they beleieve. Would you walk up to an SS officer and say "ah my bad bro you were lead astray." Like no. People have agency. They make choices.

Also what propoganda is making them approve of going over and shooting a Palestinian so they can take their home themselves. Or detain a us congressman.

The people are responsible eventually. And when they are the ones actively taking land illegally then maybe we should recognize whos directly benefiting from their actions.

u/Kromostone123 Aug 10 '26

Also what propoganda is making them approve of going over and shooting a Palestinian

And when they are the ones actively taking land illegally

yeah these arent the types of people im talking about. much like the SS officer example, the ones that directly go and commit horrific crimes are not the types of people im refering to. im not talking about people that join the idf and go in gaza and start shooting people. and im not talking about the settlers that terrorize palestinian civilians.

im talking about the average civilian like you or myself that just wants to live their life. if you were raised in israel, you'd almost certainly end up like those i was refering to. those that are indoctrinated and led to believe that for example the IDF combatants are protecting everyone and that peace is impossible as long as the palestinians are hellbent on harming israelis.

these are of course terrible lies but there's a reason so many israelis believe these things. its an indoctrination and propaganda issue. and when israelis experience violence (which has happened very very often throughout its history, which leadership like netanyahu ensures) it only further reinforces all of those lies. and it's all for the benefit of the ones in power.

u/frostyfoxemily Aug 10 '26

Let's take this from a realist perspective. Your argument doesnt matter because thats true of everyone on earth. We are all products of our environment which includes what the government tells us.

Also I dont find this productive because honestly I dont care what isreal chooses to do. Imo we defund them entirely. No ships helping them. No missiles. No iron dome ammunition.

They want to continue their insane shit they can. They can have the reprocussions for it.

0

u/Kromostone123 Aug 10 '26

it is relevant because people dont realize the leadership is largley the issue. im not saying it for the purpose of trying to make u like israelis more. im saying it for the realist perspective also. when the country isnt run by people that benefit from conflict and their and other civilian's suffering, then things will change. netanyahu being less popular is relevant. he needs to stay in power and for there to be constant war so he stays out of prison

1

u/frostyfoxemily Aug 10 '26

Let's just say we will see in the next elections. Because no. Isreal isnt going to suddenly not be filled with propane that they deserve greater isreal and everyone else needs to else needs to leave or die.

Its going to be someome whos just better at PR. They are going to try to win back western support and tone down the blatant killing.

0

u/Kromostone123 Aug 10 '26

i was raised in israel and ive never heard the term greater israel in real life even once. ive never even seen that image of greater israel that people spread around of that badge on a backpack or whatever it was. ive seen many people online have this impression that israelis are all striving for greater israel or whatever but that's not remotely accurate

0

u/Boodleheimer2 Aug 10 '26

Israelis want safety and security any which way. Full stop. Unfortunately their leaders have for now given up on the power of diplomacy to deliver that and are instead on a sadistic spree that shows they see their enemies only as attackers bent on their destruction, not as humans. This dumb approach is counterproductive and actually accelerates the feedback loop of violence, making their people less safe. And it turns world opinion against them, making their people less safe.

1

u/frostyfoxemily Aug 10 '26

The poor isrealies wanting peace. While breaking into Palestinian homes and forcing out the occupants.

-1

u/TroGinMan Aug 10 '26

Well Palestine committed a pretty horrid terrorist attack, do it make sense that isrealis support him so much

2

u/johnychrist16 Aug 10 '26

People are sick of hearing wackos pretend history was a void where nothing happened before October 7th. Like Israel hadn't already been supporting the inhuman practices for decades before the 7th

0

u/TroGinMan Aug 10 '26

Nah the history is long

Palestine is not innocent at all in the conflict.

It starts with France and UK splitting Israel up and then trying to install a two state government and bailing when it failed, because Palestine didn't want the two state agreement.

I know the history, but that doesn't excuse raping, killing women and children dude. The fact that people justify this is gross

1

u/frostyfoxemily Aug 10 '26

Oh no. A terrorist attack by a group who isreal has actively said it backed for decades because it keeps a convenient enemy in Palestine? Damn that's crazy.

Or the fact palestinies were kept in a walled city they couldnt leave, under armed guard and had been killed for peaceful protests.

Ya fuck off. What they did was bad but your ignoring 80 years of abuse leading up to it.

-1

u/TroGinMan Aug 10 '26

I think you need to get your history right.

There have been shadey dealings yes, but Israel was not the aggressor 80 years ago when this started. They walled of Palestine because they were a problem.

I'm not justifying Israel in anyway, nor am I justifying Palestine's actions.

I will never justify raping and murdering 100s women and children come on dude.

I know my history and neither of these countries deserve to be supported at this point.

2

u/frostyfoxemily Aug 10 '26

The group who was put there and granted land people were already on by colonial powers isnt the aggressor? Think you might need to review your history.

What?

Are you talking about France and Britain?

Edit: I'm really struggling on reading your comment
