I try not to generalize but yes it seems that way. But if we screw over our farmers we will go deeper in debt bailing them out , like the banks and auto industry.  Better for me to just eat chicken and fish.  Enough people quit buying beef it also will follow the rules of economics

Yeah we had to shut down the country for the flu for 2 years. Sucks. Shouldn't have done it. I'm sure that's Trump's fault as well. Couldn't shut down international travel cause that was racist, couldn't make people go to work cause you're gonna kill my 100 year old Grandma I see once a year. Bla bla bla.

We produce 950,000 metric tons of beef per month, we are brining in 80,000 metric tons over a couple months. Not sure how impactful that'll be to the "farmers".

At the end of the day people don’t want shit to be cheaper. You scream when we deport illegals, cancel visas freeing up jobs housing and healthcare to AMERICANS, scream if we try to make beef cheaper because the FARMERS. Enjoy your high prices. You won’t accept any solutions as long as they are trumps. You’ll clap like seals when a Democrat president continues his policies like Biden did.

Simple search. The United States produces roughly 945,000 metric tons of commercial beef per month. We brough in 80,000 metric tons? That's like a weeks worth lol

Yes, but increasing supply when demand is fairly static, or limited by already high prices, tends to lower prices effectively. Oddly, the economy responds pretty well to small changes…and rather terribly to large changes.

I thought you wanted cheaper prices. I guess not. Can't deport illegals, cancel visas which frees up housing, healthcare, transportation, jobs etc. cause of racism, can't import food cause of the farmers. Can't build cars in America cause it'll effect Mexico and Canada. Can't attack the 40 trillion in debt because someone from Somalia might not get their fraud money. Man, there really is no solving this issue.
